Hey Andrew,

All your old Read Read/Write user_tokens will continue to work, but
they'll lose their ability to read direct messages.

 Hi Andrew,

I'm just wondering if the actual switch to the new xAuth permission

Is xAuth as such still supposed to work, but simply returning RW
 tokens then?

Will the old xAuth tokens continue to work after the switch has been
 made end of July?

Arnaud,

Absolutely true! We'll encourage (by that I mean force) users to re-
authorize once they get our new version. That exercise could alleviate
the massive support headache of Why can't I load my messages?.

Please roll out the force_login and screen_name parameters to
http://api.twitter.com/oauth/authorize, and we'll get this put to bed!
