[Bug 531599] Re: device mappings for partitions not removed after build using --raw, leading to filesystem corruption
I have been able to test a potential fix for this problem. The unmap() function is responsible for tearing apart the device maps created by the kpartx commands. Those are created by the map_partitions() function. While tearing down the device maps created by the parted command, which is invoked in the partition() function might be better done by a callback in the partition() function, the patch is simpler by adding to the existing unmap() which is a callback from map_partition, which is invoked sequentially after partition() in hypervisor.py. Please let me know if the patch in the proposed branch is unacceptable. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to vm-builder in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/531599 Title: device mappings for partitions not removed after build using --raw, leading to filesystem corruption To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/vm-builder/+bug/531599/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 311869] Re: Add driver for Sentelic Touch pad
Thanks for your fantastic work Oskari! You beat me to it - I was getting close to getting absolute positioning working but hadn't worked out the correct registers yet. I applied your changes to the stock Oneiric kernel. Scrolling works as you stated, however cursor movement is jumpy to the point of being unusable. I compiled the driver with debug output enabled, and it looks like the driver is receiving a smooth stream of absolute packets from the hardware. It reports 50 packets per second and the timestamps look right as well. But the way the cursor behaves it seems like only about 1-3 packets per second are actually being received by X. Please let me know if you need any other debug information. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to the bug report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/311869 Title: Add driver for Sentelic Touch pad To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/oem-priority/+bug/311869/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 907188] Re: Asus EB1007 can't wake up from suspend when suspended using pm-suspend

-- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/531599 Title: device mappings for partitions not removed after build using --raw, leading to filesystem corruption To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/vm-builder/+bug/531599/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 874774] Re: could not mount /dev/mapper/cryptswap1
Steve: as to being unrelated. I matched this bug report to the symptom that mountall stalled and couldn't continue. It was later when I debugged the issue step-by-step to discover the cause that the difference became apparent. Your patch looks good - although you could drop the use of $found to track detection and use break 2 which would avoid those extra 4 lines of code. As to the original cryptswap report, I'll duplicate that configuration here and step through the init scripts to discover the causes (if I can reproduce the failure). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/874774 Title: could not mount /dev/mapper/cryptswap1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cryptsetup/+bug/874774/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 907281] [NEW] Gedit crashed when drag and droping a tab.
Public bug reported: Hi! I was working on Gedit. I’ve oppenned two windows of it, working on two different files at the same time). Then, I figure out that I could openned both documents in the same window using two tabs. Thus I drag and drop the (unique) tab of one of those window to the other window. An arrow appears just at the right of the tab of this window and I drop this tab. Then Gedit takes 100% of the CPU for a long, and then both windows crashed. [Bug 907284] [NEW] [Realtek ALC892] pactl stat failed to find default card
Public bug reported: I have no sound at all. Doing the following makes sound work... however I have no control over the sound volumes per applications (except the overall sound using alsamixer - which is a pain): killall pulseaudio pulseaudio --kill alsa force-reload After doing those, sound works! So clearly there isn't any issues with alsa, problem seems to exist in pulseaudio somehow... yet it was working perfectly fine a few months ago. I recently downgraded to 1:0.9.22~0.9.21+stable-queue-32-g8478-0ubuntu21 because I thought 1:0.9.22~0.9.21+stable-queue-32-g8478-0ubuntu21.1 was what caused the issues... but still no joy. Any ideas?
