[Bug 996506] [NEW] Unity update no longer shows Wine (Crossover) applications
Public bug reported: After the update to Unity 5.12-0ubuntu1 the dash no longer shows Codeweaver's Crossover applications (e.g. Word and Powerpoint 2007). Starting e.g. Word, I can see the icon pop up in the dash only to quickly disappear -- first it's shown with the proper Word icon, then it changes to the generic Wine icon and then finally it is gone (though Word runs fine). Furthermore, when switching between apps using Alt-Tab, it is also not shown. Thus, having minimized Word, it's quite a challenge to restore it All the best N System details: Description:Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Release:12.04 unity: Installed: 5.12-0ubuntu1 Candidate: 5.12-0ubuntu1 Version table: *** 5.12-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ precise-updates/main amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 5.10.0-0ubuntu6 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ precise/main amd64 Packages ** Affects: unity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/996506 Title: Unity update no longer shows Wine (Crossover) applications To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/996506/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 996505] [NEW] Removing old kernels doesn't clean up
Public bug reported: I noticed that the removal of old kernels does not uninstall the kernel headers for that kernel, nor does it delete the folder in /lib/modules Linux-headers are at about 130Mb i memory serves, this could cause a lot of bloat if a lot of kernels have been installed (through regular updates). [Bug 996509] [NEW] plasma panel doesn't come out of auto-hide
Public bug reported: I have a very much tailored setup, with Search And Launch and two panels. a small one on top, and one somewhere on the right edge. Both don't extend to the corners. Both are set to auto-hide. Exactly since update 11.10 to 12.04, the one on the right side doesn't pop out. Public bug reported: After I resume my session from a suspended mode, when attempting to connect to a wireless network that was not the network that I was connected to most recently before suspending, the system is unable to connect, despite the fact that the presence of the network is recognized. This may be the same bug as this: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/665837 , but I have specifically noticed that in my case, I can connect to the network that I was previously connected to, but not other networks. I will have to check again to see if, in fact, I am able to connect to ALL networks that I had previously connected to before suspend, or only the one that I had most recently connected to. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/996523 Title: After resuming from suspend, NEW wireless networks cannot connect To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/996523/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
