[Bug 1153626] Re: Multiple Interfaces and IPs not detected in AWS VPC
My current thinking is that a udev rule will need to have a RUN hook that updates /etc/network/interfaces or at a minimum runs the appropriate ip commands based on what is discovered in the EC2 metadata service. It seems like updating /etc/network/interfaces would be good since ifup/ifdown rely on its configuration. According to the VPC docs (http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/using- eni.html#detach_eni) it appears that eth0 can *not* be removed from a running instance while eth1 may be removed or added while the machine is running. However, it is unclear if additional VIPs can be added to eth0 while the instance is running. I'm not sure how changes to the available IPs would be detected without polling the meta-data service. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1153626 Title: Multiple Interfaces and IPs not detected in AWS VPC To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/cloud-init/+bug/1153626/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1156988] [NEW] Fails to verify GPG signature of a package
Public bug reported: The dpkg-sig script is unable to verify a signature of a Debian package when GNU ar is used to assemble the package. This also renders dpkg-sig not capable of adding new signature when one already exists. The problem lies in the difference of how GNU ar will terminate a file name to indicate where it ends - it will add a trailing slash / (forward slash) on the contrary to BSD ar which does not follow such practice[1]. [Bug 1135418] Re: [FFe] Integrate Ubuntu plugin and update to 2.7 RC
It does support Qt4 development, and even seems to prefer it regarding Qt version auto-detection, but the software itself needs to be built against either Qt4 or Qt5. [Bug 1135418] Re: [FFe] Integrate Ubuntu plugin and update to 2.7 RC
Based on feedback many people are already using it for simultaneous Qt4 and Qt5 development via multiple Kits configuration. Qt4 for their existing application development and Qt5 as they're starting to familiarize with the it. It's relatively easy to make an application support both at the same time, so they can consider targeting both Android/Blackberry (currently Qt 4.8) and Ubuntu (Qt 5) at the same time or start preparing for KDE Qt 5 transition. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1135418 Title: [FFe] Integrate Ubuntu plugin and update to 2.7 RC To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qtcreator/+bug/1135418/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
Re: [Bug 1135418] Re: [FFe] Integrate Ubuntu plugin and update to 2.7 RC
OK. It would have been nice to have some discussion with the team that's been maintaining this package for years before making major changes like that. Although we don't have formal maintainership as in Debian, it is considered a polite thing to do. Patches should be accepted upstream before going into our packages. Approved to upgrade to 2.7 RC. Nack on introducing long term divergence from upstream. Please provide a clear diff of the delta associated with this Ubuntu plugin. Since I can't tell from the bug what the diff is, I don't have an opinion on if it's appropriate or not (if changes are confined to the ubuntu plugin directory, then I don't see an issue).

[Bug 1153224] Re: [FFE] Move to logind for session tracking
Martin, is there a list of upstream software affected by the wrong sd_booted() check? Yes, it's linked from the spec: http://people.canonical.com/~pitti/tmp /cgroup-sd_booted.txt OK, so I'll go forward with disabling logind from the raring packages, and keep it enabled in the PPA only. I'll also have a go at Unity today (that's mostly monkey-patching), and filing upstream bugs for sd_booted(), so that after raring's release there are more things in place for the switch. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1153224 Title: [FFE] Move to logind for session tracking To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/systemd/+bug/1153224/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
