[Bug 1769075] Re: [regression][bionic] Bluetooth keyboard battery reports 0% (in kernel 4.15 and later)
I have the same problem with a Logitech M337 mouse and the 4.15.0-22-lowlatency kernel on my Dell Inspiron 15 laptop. I also with a different Logitech M337 on the 4.4.15.0-22-generic kernel on an Asus Transformer T300 Chi. Its bluetooth docking station reports zero battery, too. All three bluetooth devices reported credible power levels under their 17.10 systems they were running before upgrading to bionic. Is it a coincidence the two machines have Intel wifi/bluetooth adapters which use iwlwifi-7265D-29.ucode? I can run apport from these two machines if that would be helpful. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1769075 Title: [regression][bionic] Bluetooth keyboard battery reports 0% (in kernel 4.15 and later) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bluez/+bug/1769075/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1758306] Re: Cannot switch mouse primary button to Right (left-handed) in Settings
OK, this is bizarre. For most of the afternoon, I was running in the 14.3 kernel instead of the new because I was doing an online class that required a lot of clicking. I finished the class and then came here to see if there were new messages. So, I ran 'gsettings get org.gnome.desktop.peripherals.mouse left-handed' in the terminal, and it returned true. But then I remembered I was still in the old kernel, so I restarted my laptop and booted the new kernel. Now, I've already done this a couple of times today, and nothing has changed with the buttons. But when I booted the new kernel just now, the problem appears to have resolved itself, and my right button is actually primary as I had set it to be. So, the problem is somehow resolved, but I'm curious as to how booting one kernel and then another seems to have made the difference. I haven't run any updates or anything. Happy, but curious/confused. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1758306 Title: Cannot switch mouse primary button to Right (left-handed) in Settings To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/1758306/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1758306] Re: Cannot switch mouse primary button to Right (left-handed) in Settings
I didn't have this problem before I upgraded to 18.04, though. In fact, I've never had this problem with any release since I started using Ubuntu with 8.04 years ago. It was literally right after I upgraded and restarted my machine that the problem appeared--it didn't appear before the restart that was required to finish the upgrade. So I'd assume it's something within the updgrade. I couldn't tell you about the repos being activated, because I frankly don't know what those are. I don't know much of the under-the-hood of Ubuntu yet.

[Bug 1770108] Re: No wifi in 4.13.0-41-generic
I am facing this same problem with 4.13.0-41-generic as well as 4.13.0-43-generic. When I boot in either of those kernels, I first get a black screen with a dialog box saying: "The system is running in low- graphics mode - your screen, graphics card, and input device settings could not be detected correctly. You will need to configure these yourself." When I click OK, it gives another dialog box where I choose "Try running with default graphical mode". Then Ubuntu Desktop boots properly, but the network (wireless) symbol is there but empty. No network connection. I tried disabling Networking or Wi-fi, and enabling them again, but nothing changes. I have attached the output of the apport-collect 1770108 run on a terminal. I ran the command on the 4.13.0-43-generic kernel first, and then rebooted into 4.13.0-39-generic kernel and ran it again. In the 4.13.0-43-generic kernel, it does not do much but print errors to std_error since it cannot connect to the Internet. It works in the 4.13.0-39-generic kernel and opens the launchpad webpage. ** Attachment added: "output of apport-collect 1770108 command" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1770108/+attachment/5147998/+files/apport-collect1770108.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1770108 Title: No wifi in 4.13.0-41-generic To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1770108/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
