[Bug 356415] Re: [indicator-applet 0.1] evolution notify icon still in the notify systray
As you can see in this long and hot discussion ( https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-notifier/+bug/332945 ), the notifier of updates, retart required after an update are eliminated from the notification area. As you can see in comment n°5 : It's part of a long-term plan to clean up the notification area (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-notifier/+bug/332945/comments/5) that's why I thought it's a bug. I was wrong. but I think that the proper behavior of the indicator-applet 0.1 will be: appear in the notify area if there is new mail and disappear later to clean up the notification area. so, should I note this as a bug or added it in the blueprint for indicator-applet 0.1 developers ? I don't think it's nautilus. some times when I have firefox open and maximized, if I open a new window the window is open but don't show up. try this: open firefox, alt-F10, open gedit, copy some thing from firefox to the gedit document, come back to firefox and now open your home folder from Places. I have a x86 computer and I have a problem with my Nvidia graphics driver too. I upgraded from 8.04 to 8.10 beta (in 10/10/2008) in 8.04 I was using the driver without problem. when I upgraded, I had a proposition to activate one of two drivers: - the NVIDIA accelerated graphics driver (version 71) - the NVIDIA accelerated graphics driver (version 96)[Recommended] I tried many times to activate one of the two drivers without success: it download and install the driver but still not activated.
