[Bug 1568625] Re: Sope does not appear in Ubuntu store
There are 20 scopes results in the News and Magazines department in the store. In uappexplorer there are tens though... The scope in question does not show, only in searches. [Bug 351186] Re: [ubuntu 9.04 beta]slow unminimizing with ati card and desktop effects enabled
@Martin, I see you point, the free drivers should really be the ones to get most of the attention. Anyway, one of the big problems the ati and radeonhd drivers have are the lack of power managment for some laptops (mine included of course) and that makes the fans spin like crazy all the time even when temperatures are quite low. I think having no 3D for some cards is really not a show stopper, but the lack of power management is the one thing that makes me use fglrx. [Bug 301926] Re: Crash/Freeze When using bit torrent client and other random programs
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, your crash report is either missing or challenging to deal with as a .crash file. Please follow these instructions to have apport report a new bug about your crash that can be dealt with by the automatic retracer. If you are running the Ubuntu Stable Release you might need to enable apport in /etc/default/apport and restart. If you are using Ubuntu with the Gnome desktop environment - launch nautilus and navigate to your /var/crash directory and double click on the crash report you wish to submit. If you are using Kubuntu or Xubuntu you can file the crash using /usr/share/apport/apport-qt --crash-file=/var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash in a terminal - where _my_crash_report.crash is the crash you would like to report. I'm closing this bug report since the process outlined above will automatically open a new bug report which can then dealt with more efficiently. Good question. I'm not sure if the if the necessary codecs to use the Pitfdll plugin are included in Ubuntu restricted extras. Did some digging and the plugin is only active when installing the w32codecs package from medibuntu. [Bug 292253] Re: Gtranslator is too old in Ubuntu, please upgrade it
Sync with Debian should be the better solution. As I said before I think it would be good to have 1.9.x in Jaunty, it would make many translators happy :). Maybe adding something to the package description saying its still beta software would also be a good idea. -- Gtranslator is too old in Ubuntu, please upgrade it https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/292253 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 292253] Re: Gtranslator is too old in Ubuntu, please upgrade it
Emilio, from my personal experience the current gtranslator version in Ubuntu's repositories is almost unusable for translating po files. It lacks features and it has happened to me that it adds extra characters to strings, so its very buggy. Between having that and having a beta version which looks quite good already (I've been testing for the past weeks) I would prefer having the beta. Maybe it would be a good idea to ask gtranslator developers if a stable release or a release candidate will be released sometime before jaunty feature freeze. I can do that if you want since I'm subscribed to gtranslator mailling list -- Gtranslator is too old in Ubuntu, please upgrade it https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/292253 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
