[Bug 897495] Re: Conky 1.8.1 does not work with apcupsd
I agree that a "downgrade" patch isn't ideal, but as you mentioned the bug report upstream hasn't really had any traction for some time. That is what prompted me to request a new release of the debian package. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/897495 Title: Conky 1.8.1 does not work with apcupsd To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/conky/+bug/897495/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 711646] Re: openbox system wide debian-menu.xml error
I can confirm the error and that the symlink described in the description "fixes" the issue. The file is on my file system and has proper permissions. I am not sure why it isn't being read properly and haven't had a lot of time to debug it fully. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/711646 Title: openbox system wide debian-menu.xml error To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openbox/+bug/711646/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 397806] Re: cdrom: This disc doesn't have any tracks I recognize!
I'm seeing very similar issues to those already posted with some slight differences. Brasero and nautilus both do not recognize blank DVDs, burned DVDs or packaged data CDs. I am running a 2.6.32 kernel which according to other similar bug reports has fixed various CD/DVD issues but not for me. I also have brasero-2.30.0-0ubuntu1 installed which is greater than the 2.28 which I have also seen in other bug reports as having this issue. % uname -r 2.6.32-21-generic % sudo lshw -c disk *-cdrom description: DVD writer physical id: 0.0.0 bus info: s...@3:0.0.0 logical name: /dev/cdrom1 logical name: /dev/cdrw1 logical name: /dev/dvd1 logical name: /dev/dvdrw1 logical name: /dev/scd0 logical name: /dev/sr0 capabilities: audio cd-r cd-rw dvd dvd-r configuration: status=open % /lib/udev/cdrom_id /dev/sr0 ID_CDROM=1 ID_CDROM_CD_R=1 ID_CDROM_CD_RW=1 ID_CDROM_DVD=1 ID_CDROM_DVD_R=1 ID_CDROM_MRW=1 ID_CDROM_MRW_W=1 % dvd+rw-mediainfo /dev/sr0 :-( unable to INQUIRY: Input/output error % wodim -scanbus scsibus3: 3,0,0 300) * 3,1,0 301) * 3,2,0 302) * 3,3,0 303) * 3,4,0 304) * 3,5,0 305) * 3,6,0 306) * 3,7,0 307) * wodim: No target found. -- cdrom: This disc doesn't have any tracks I recognize! https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/397806 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I can't reproduce it in gutsy either. Please give the output of 'dpkg -s openoffice.org | grep Version'. Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, your crash report is missing.
