[Bug 1700043] [NEW] Thunderbird unable to print/preview
Public bug reported: Since the upgrade to 17.04 thunderbird no longer prints. Even preview is not working. I tried two different printers, txt and html messages. The preview window comes empty (see attachement) and the printed sheets come only with header and footer, but no content (html messages produce only some horizontal lines, but no real content rendering). My printers are an HP Laserjet and a Samsung CLP laser. [Bug 1696179] [NEW] When selecting fonts, font weight varies
Public bug reported: I'm not sure this is a teak problem or a generic font display problem. The fact is that I'm trying to select a comfortable font using gnome- tweak-tool and the font picker doesn't always display the fonts in the same way. I attach two examples, taken with a couple of seconds delay. One is the font picker for "Interface" and the other is for "Documents". Same font, same size, different weight when visualising. If I alternate between the two, they always display different. [Bug 1692330] Re: firefox hangs using 100% cpu
Managed to put my finger on the pattern. Had something to do with stored passwords. Tried to import stored passwords with Chromium and the same thing happened. [Bug 1644986] [NEW] Screen flickering since 16.10 upgrade
Public bug reported: I'm noticing some random screen flickering since 16.10 upgrade. Something like every 10 minutes, mainly on the secondary monitor (hdmi connected), but sometimes on the laptop display too. Not sure if it's related, but when using LibreOffice Impress to display presentations on the secondary display the problem worsens, but it's only flickering in parts of the display, not all. Since an update a couple of days ago, I have the same symptoms. I log in normally, the desktop appears (with icons) but nothing else. [Bug 1417072] [NEW] Thunderbird address auto-completion is ignoring frequency
Public bug reported: Since a couple of weeks now thunderbird lost the ability to suggest message addressing based on frequency. Usually, when composing a message, most used addresses would come on top of the drop-down address list. Now, the most used addresses come almost at the end of the list. This is very annoying, since we usually trust TB for most used addresses (our colleages) and this means team messages now tend to go to outsiders, when we are in a hurry. [Bug 1299792] Re: Xorg dumping core on Hibrid graphics Intel+ATI
This bug filing might not be complete because ubuntu-bug was not working at the time. Only managed to send the bug after having found a workaround. You can see a small history of the problem at http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2213955 Summarising: Xorg on live usb stick doesn't find the ATI card, so it works with the intel one, and it's fine, apparently. After install, the same Xorg finds different list of hardware, including the ATI card and tries to work with it, and dumps core. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1299792 Title: Xorg dumping core on Hibrid graphics Intel+ATI To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1299792/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1299792] Re: Xorg dumping core on Hibrid graphics Intel+ATI
Here is the xorg logfile from the situation where it dumps core. It's after the first reboot. Apparently, X finds a different list of hardware, tries to use the ATI card and fails. ** Attachment added: The xorg log from reboot after install https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1299792/+attachment/4053518/+files/Xorg.bad.log.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1299792 Title: Xorg dumping core on Hibrid graphics Intel+ATI To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1299792/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 564216] [NEW] Unable to use Toshiba Tecra R10 internal 3G modem
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: network-manager This problem is also present in the previous 9.10 release. Just checked and it still behaves the same way in 10.04 beta. OK. Here goes. 1. Steps: I take a video (like some m4v that I can watch with Quicktime for Windows) and I open a video app like Totem or gnome mplayer or vlc, 2. Expectations: I would expect that the video would play, with sound. 3. Actual behavior: The programs give no error. They all show the progress bar moving, and they all play the sound.
