Hi, Personally i only use oofem and oofeg, without other optional features. I do not know a lot about the other options but i think most users only use those two. I think the testing tool also should be included (with all the example files as well) I do not have a proposition on whether or not we should include all of the optional features by default. I am afraid the parralel version excludes the normal version so i think it is easier to have different binarys for different flavoures Maybe we can have oofem-iml, oofem-dss, poofem-parmetis (parallel oofem with parmetis) binarys? hey, a fresh look of launchpad. Very nice... i give it one another try. Download lp249090-3 goto the terminal and open as follows: soffice lp249090-3.ods (i do not think opening using nautilus differs, but you never know) This crashes here almost instantly. Sometimes i can do 3 or 4 edits (move some cells, press {F2} to edit a formula) and then it will crash (tested here on 2 different boxes). I also tried opening the file on an other os (MS) and this gave no problems. I am not sure whether this is a dup of bug 245477 because the symptoms are quit different a pity we are at least 6 or 7 timezones apart.
