[Bug 890684] Re: hpcups in 3.11.7 and 3.11.10 doesn't respect top margin
It seems like this didn't help with my Samsung CLP-310N. I'm using the Samsung Unified Printer Driver, since the foo2qpdl driver gives unusable results as printouts. The cutoff of the top margin affects monochrome as well as colour prints. I'm running Ubuntu 11.10 and the installed hplip package version is 3.11.7-1ubuntu3.1... Please let me know if I can provide any additional information that helps solving this issue. Hi Luke, if you could briefly tell me which steps to do I really would appreciated that - I think I am not pro enough to follow those instructions mentioned in the comments up there on my own :) Nonetheless I know how to use the commandline etc. For now I simply uninstalled the gnome-orca package via synaptics since i don't need text2speech at all. Hey, just got the same issue. Recently updated to Ubuntu 11.04 and after opening the sound-configuration-window there is a blank terminal popping up an this crappy computer-voice telling me something like welcome . I cannot close this terminal-window, too. Every time I try to close ist, it is reopening instantly, playing the electronic voice again. If I can help solving this issue, please let me know.
