[Bug 165161] Re: Compiz places transient dialogs behind currently focused window
I'm running 64 bit Jaunty Ubuntu with Mozilla Thunderbird and Ubuntu's packages of enigmail 2:0.95.7-1ubuntu2 thunderbird 2.0.0.23+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.9.04.1 thunderbird-gnome-support 2.0.0.23+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.9.04.1 With Compiz Extra settings enabled I still see this behavior exhibited when enigmail pops up to ask for my GPG passphrase (which I have set to do every time I send an email by choice) Bug 164489 had been marked as a duplicate of this one, but describes the problem specifically with enigmail and thunderbird together. The temporary workaround is to set the appearance/Compiz settings System - Preferences - Appearance - Visual Effect = Normal or None But I wish to enjoy the full desktop effects. -Joe -- Compiz places transient dialogs behind currently focused window https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/165161 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 431982] [NEW] Adobe isn't maintaining 64 bit Alpho Code
*** This bug is a security vulnerability *** Public security bug reported: Binary package hint: adobe-flashplugin -BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Adobe still has not released a final 64 bit version of Flash. There have been security updates to their 32 bit flash player which have not had corresponding upgrades for the 64 bit version. It is my considered observation that this is a security threat that users are not being informed of when they install the beta version of flash. If there is a way to run the 32 bit version I think that would be preferred or one of the open source flash players instead. How this issue is determined in Karmic will determine whether I will move back to the 32 bit architecture or continue with the 64 bit. [Bug 276822] Re: busybox with (initramfs) / boot: / kernel not found
I'm having this problem with Jaunty RC - I get a prompt that says initramfs. I thought it might be related to my hard drive partitions using encrypted LUKS over LVM, so I removed the hard drive but still had the same problem. Once I hit enter a couple times at the initramfs prompt and got past the problem to a boot screen but that was with Ubuntu 9.04 beta. This is really important to me.
