[Bug 1641867] [NEW] GtkMenu: Submenu navigation triangle doesn't work
Public bug reported: The navigation triangle code for keeping a submenu open when the mouse is moving diagonally toward it is broken due to incorrect rounding. This was reported upstream at: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=710388 The attached patch (also submitted upstream) rounds the cursor location when calculating the navigation triangle bounds. ** Affects: gtk+3.0 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Patch added: "Fix for navigation triangle bug" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1641867/+attachment/4777560/+files/submenu_navigation_region_fix.patch -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1641867 Title: GtkMenu: Submenu navigation triangle doesn't work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gtk+3.0/+bug/1641867/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 312352] Re: python-tagpy should be added as a dependancy
An unnecessarily accusive tone. This bug report was from 9 months ago, but I installed the package via Synaptic. I did not explicitly remove python-tagpy, or decide not to install the recommended packages. The real issue I was reporting was that functionality in the program did not work as installed, AND the error message displayed did not give a helpful error message. I just removed python-tagpy to see what the exact error is (Sonata 1.5.3, Jaunty): Taglib and/or tagpy not found, tag editing support disabled This is a crap error message. If the program isn't going to have a dependency on the libraries needed, then the Ubuntu packages should be patched to give useful error messages in this case. How about: Taglib and/or tagpy not found. To enable tag editing support, install the 'python-tagpy' package It's still not ideal, but it implies that tagging support is disabled, and informs how tag editing support can be enabled in a way that is directly useful to an Ubuntu user. -- python-tagpy should be added as a dependancy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/312352 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 264167] Re: Text Import from clipboard only imports the first line of data
This bug is still in the final release. [between this bug and the plots bug, Gnumeric is unusable]. The text import dialog completely ignores numbers the user inputs for lines to import -- in data I wanted to import, I entered lines 22-25, but it kept changing it to 15-25. -- Text Import from clipboard only imports the first line of data https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/264167 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 352139] [NEW] Frequent short lockups in any application
Public bug reported: Running Jaunty beta, I frequently experience lockups, where a program will stop responding to input for a short period of time. This is -very- disruptive. I'm not sure exactly what causes it. It happens in Pidgin, and happens whenever I save a file in Emacs, which suggests it might be filesystem or kernel related. [Bug 112703] Re: tomboy sometimes starts with search dialog rather than as minimized applet
This problem is currently present in Intrepid, I have investigated more; it seems to be caused by Tomboy launching before the notification area applet has loaded. If I remove the notification area from my panel configuration, Tomboy always starts with the search for notes dialog and the program exits when that is closed. This probably also explains why it happens for some people and not others. On my first log in after booting, Tomboy almost always starts in the 'non-persistent' mode; on subsequent logins, Tomboy almost always runs as expected in 'persistent' mode. This is probably caused by kernel caching or whatever when loading the panel applets. On a brief look over Tomboy.cs, it is probably something to do with the program registering as a panel applet. -- tomboy sometimes starts with search dialog rather than as minimized applet https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/112703 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 61565] Re: f-spot crashes with errors about mono
I downloaded F-Spot 0.32 and built it and it did not have this problem. It appears to include its own version of DBUS-Sharp (rather than using the currently unmaintained dbus-mono binding). Should be fixed in Feisty though. -- Sam -- f-spot crashes with errors about mono https://launchpad.net/bugs/61565 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 61565] Re: f-spot crashes with errors about mono
(reopening bug?) I too am having this problem. I am running Ubuntu Edgy, with the latest updates as of Feb 1, 2007. I have a Dell Inspiron 6400 (E1505 in US) which is an Intel Core Duo. Information I have found elsewhere suggests the problem is a race condition in the Mono DBUS libraries; but I could be wrong. On my other laptop; a Compaq Armada E500 (Pentium 3, 1000Mhz no CPU multithreading) FSpot appears to work fine. I will investigate this further. -- Sam -- f-spot crashes with errors about mono https://launchpad.net/bugs/61565 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
