[Bug 1796895] Re: Kernel 4.15.0-36 network performance regression
We had a similar issue with our MySQL server farm (seven dedicated MySQL servers). Replication was very slow, falling behind for no apparent reason. We were reaching 24 hours of lag! We never had that kind of lag before. A couple of minutes at the most. Long story short, we rebooted to 4.15.0.34 and the servers caught up replication with in minutes! [Bug 1316873] Re: Left mouse button stops working
Followup. I found my problem and corrected it. It was my USB keyboard. My keyboard is a "Microsoft Natural Ergonomics Keyboard 4000 v1.0". Picture: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/61eczN%2BZTQL._SX466_.jpg The "back" button (located center/bottom) was stuck down. I have had the keyboard for sometime and apparently enough 'gunk' accumulated in and around the button that it was kept from returning to the up (off) position. Once I cleaned the button (removed it and blew out the area and cleaned the edges of the button) the problem went away. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1316873 Title: Left mouse button stops working To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1316873/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Just started happening to me. I have a whitebox system with an ASUS motherboard and a USB chorded mouse. Using 14.04 LTS with Gnome 3 desktop. [Bug 974374] Re: Error on unmounting a NFSv4 share
We just had a similar incident. The local server autofs mounts a remote NFS. The remote server unexpectidly powered off (no normal shutdown). The remote server was powered back on however the local server was not able to access the remote NFS's. It appears the local server never umounted the remote NFS's. When you did and ls -l a bunch of question marks would appear. We attempted umount the remote mounts but the local server kept saying: {mount} was not found in /proc/mounts. root@mysql02:/etc# df Filesystem1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on /dev/mapper/mysql02-root 716514760 11255404 668862508 2% / udev6143968 46143964 1% /dev tmpfs 2461300 5162460784 1% /run none 5120 0 5120 0% /run/lock none6153244 06153244 0% /run/shm /dev/sdg1233191 98407 122343 45% /boot /dev/md0 3845737480 590404808 3059980404 17% /d01 logilive:/opt/logisoft816146560 176438624 597581376 23% /net/logilive/opt/logisoft lwt1:/opt/logisoft 24520704 11627520 11646976 50% /net/lwt1/opt/logisoft root@mysql02:/etc# umount /net/logilive/opt/logisoft /net/logilive/opt/logisoft was not found in /proc/mounts /net/logilive/opt/logisoft was not found in /proc/mounts we could never get the local server to umount the remote server. [Bug 994575] Re: /etc/ppp/ip-up.d/000resolvconf should "exit 0" if pppd was run by NM, since NM will register the nameserver addresses itself
I installed the proposed changes and performed a VPN (PPTP) connection a Windows 2008 Server. I initiated the connection via the Unity Network GUI (Right-click network icon, VPN -> MyVPN Connection). The proposed changes worked for me (Ubuntu 12.04 x64 desktop). The resolv.conf file is no longer being populated with DNS servers obtained via the VPN connection. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/994575 Title: /etc/ppp/ip-up.d/000resolvconf should "exit 0" if pppd was run by NM, since NM will register the nameserver addresses itself To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/resolvconf/+bug/994575/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
