Tim, thank you for the quick response! [Bug 1621989] [NEW] chown in docker container on overlayfs fails with kernel BUG at linux-4.4.0/fs/attr.c:280

[Bug 1405685] Re: GCC manpage contains invalid @tie{} tags
Could you double-check this? They show up when I run `info gcc` here. I double-checked that I have installed gcc-4.8-doc package and in $ info g++-4.8 Invoking GCC Submodel Options AVR Options I can find same paragraph without @tie{} tags: 'avrxmega7' XMEGA devices with more than 128 KiB of program memory and more than 64 KiB of RAM. MCU = 'atxmega128a1', 'atxmega128a1u', 'atxmega128a4u'. A bit strage is that infopage has singlequotes ('avrxmega7') and man- page has double-quotes (avrxmega7). Info-page source doesn't have any tags on my system: $ zcat /usr/share/info/gcc-4.8.info.gz | grep avrxmega7 -A 3 'avrxmega7' XMEGA devices with more than 128 KiB of program memory and more than 64 KiB of RAM. MCU = 'atxmega128a1', 'atxmega128a1u', 'atxmega128a4u'. -- 'avrxmega6', 'avrxmega7', respectively. If MCU specifies a device, this built-in macro is set accordingly. For example, with '-mmcu=atmega8' the macro will be defined to '4'. $ dpkg -S /usr/share/info/gcc-4.8.info.gz gcc-4.8-doc: /usr/share/info/gcc-4.8.info.gz $ apt-cache policy gcc-4.8-doc gcc-4.8-doc: Installed: 4.8.2-19ubuntu1 Candidate: 4.8.2-19ubuntu1 Version table: *** 4.8.2-19ubuntu1 0 500 http://ru.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty/main amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1405685 Title: GCC manpage contains invalid @tie{} tags To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gcc-defaults/+bug/1405685/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1405685] [NEW] GCC manpage contains invalid @tie{} tags

[Bug 425979] Re: Holding shift fails to display grub2 menu
On fresh install of Ubuntu 14.04.1: both shifts (holding or repeatedly pressed) do nothing --- system continues to boot. Pressing escape just after GRUB is started presents menu, but this requires quite good timing (in contrast to just holding shift during computer boot). [Bug 1317112] [NEW] Sometimes Gnucash doesn't redraw window
Public bug reported: From time to time I experience following bug with Gnucash: 1. I start Gnucash from terminal. 2. Gnucash starts and loads last opened file — I see all my accounts etc. Then if i click on items or try to use keyboard inside Gnucash window nothing happens: window contents is not redrawed. If I click on menu item, or switch to other window, or resize window, or do right-click window will redraw and I will see, that actually all clicks were delivered to application: selection changes, entered text appears. Usually application restart helps and all works fine. I experienced similar to this bug in Ubuntu 13.10: sometimes application redrawed but with some delay, so it looked very laggy. [Bug 1267648] Re: Copying large amount of files to USB stick makes system laggy or even freeze/hang (temporary)
I discovered two more requirements to reproduce this bug: free RAM should be low and swap must be enabled. To occupy most of 8 GB RAM that I have after reboot I allocate it from python script: python -c 'import sys; t = X * 1024 * 1024 * 1024 * 5; sys.stdin.read()' after that only about 15-25% RAM is free. With disabled swap all works smoothly even with large vm sysctl settings (vm.dirty_ratio = 60, vm.dirty_background_ratio = 40) and low free memory. I tested with kernel version 3.13.0-031300rc7-generic installed from provided link and bug is reproducible. I observed following behavior that may be related to this bug report in fresh installation of Ubuntu 13.10. gnome-terminal, pidgin, nautilus (and probably most of Gnome applications) randomly freezes when I typing text in them: they became unresponsive (not redrawing themselfs) and after few seconds the may or may not became grayed out. [Bug 1007847] Re: qml pincharea doesn't work with opengl, works good otherwise
My colleague and I debugged this issue and prepared patch for it. If we undrestood correctly, bug was caused by code that searches widget that should get touch input. It checks with childAt() which child should get input, but doesn't pass event to root widget if no children found (as done in other event handlers, for example in translateWheelEvent()). This bug can be reproduced if you try to get touch input in root widget (native X11 window, e.g. call show() on Qt widget without parents). Also, looks like when any widget calls QWidget.winId() directly or indirectly (e.g. by setting that this widget is rendering with OpenGL) widget being promoted to native, and too became root of input widgets hierarchy. Attached patch was tested on our application and Qt demos on Ubuntu 13.04 and Ubuntu 13.10. ** Patch added: fix_xinput2_for_root_windows.patch https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qt4-x11/+bug/1007847/+attachment/3904801/+files/fix_xinput2_for_root_windows.patch -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to qt4-x11 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1007847 Title: qml pincharea doesn't work with opengl, works good otherwise To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qt4-x11/+bug/1007847/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs

[Bug 657585] Re: Shutter don't preserve screenshot saving directory
Could you please select the new folder manually instead of pasting? Does this work? Yes, it works: if I select folder by walking with mouse through directories until contents of /tmp/shutter/dir/ is shown and then pressing Open, then screenshots are made into /tmp/shutter/dir/. How can be tested is this a GTK's bug? Will you post bug report to GTK team? Which information you need?
