[Bug 872026] Re: guvcview crashes when starting to record video

That's out of question, because I can't even try the new Ubuntu version due to Unity. This laptop only has 512 RAM and I'm using the Radeon open source driver (no other alternatives available). [Bug 401823] Re: Gdk-WARNING **: XID collision, trouble ahead
Forgive me something but - come on - this bug exists since 2009. It should be solved by now, in my humble opinion... but it's not! I can still reproduce: (firefox-bin:2685): Gdk-WARNING **: XID collision, trouble ahead in Ubuntu 10.10 and Firefox 3.6.16, Chrome 10.0..., etc. when viewing sites with flash content. I believe that this is causing some flash plugin crashes. [Bug 362690] Re: cannot enable USB errors on boot
Hello, Fabio. I would say that this problem is not totally solved in Ubuntu 10.04. Lucid Lynx gives access to a plugin for HP Laserjet 1018, wich works fine. Most of the times, I get a clean boot with no problems at all. But sometimes (maybe 1 in 3 or 4 times) the printer delays the boot, and I can't move the mouse for about 1 minute after Ubuntu is loaded. If I unplug the printer, during that minute, I have access to the mouse again. At least I don't receive device descriptor read/64, error messages anymore, or perhaps they are hidden now. -- cannot enable USB errors on boot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/362690 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I confirm this bug and what Esteban Izaguirre just said. I have an HP LaserJet 1018 too and the same error occurs here, in Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04, if the printer is plugged in during boot. Those errors appear after Starting bluetooth... message, so you can workaround this issue by turning off the Bluetooth Manager at System Administration Services.
