Hi! Sorry you ran into this problem. I changed the summary because from what I read in the description there was no data loss, although the web UI was not showing files. I can tell you more about what happened - there was a subtle change to a database index that worked fine in testing but caused some performance problems in production. It took us a couple of hours to track down why the queries were running so slowly, and during that time the web UI would time out before it could get a response from the database when trying to populate the file view. The web interface is fixed. The My Files link apparently was timing out in the UI as you described and hiding the files. I was able to access files fine. However, the web interface is still not accepting any changes. I've cleared the web interface of any old files to prevent conflicts, and even removed and re-added my computer afterwards. The server still refuses to accept any new files and capacity remains at 0.0% and 0KB. I've left the client running and clicking on it says files are up to date and that it is connected, but the tool tip shows that it is stuck on updating files, and the icon has yet to go away. The Ubuntu One folder also shows that it is connected. Just to also add, I wouldn't consider the UI 100% in the clear at the moment maybe 70 or 80%. The My Files folder still doe not want to show all the time and sometimes takes quite a few refreshes to get it to pop back up.
