[Bug 61001] Cannot upgrade from dapper to edgy
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: update-manager The upgrade fails at firefox localization (en-gb) package and then reports that this is a bug that should be reported. It is actually possible to finish by hand if you have some experience, but this is not for avg. user. The install is a pure (except nxserver packages), freshly updated dapper install prepared just for this purpose. The logs from /var/log/dist-upgrade are long. Could you use the mailing list, please? (though not strictly necessary as glom is the only application dependent on libglom, but a good policy should the library be used by others in the future.) but more importantly (pragmatically) imho is for glom to have a versioned dependency on libglom. thank you for your packaging of glom! ** Affects: glom (Ubuntu) Importance: Untriaged Status: Unconfirmed -- glom versioned dependency on libglom https://launchpad.net/bugs/60969 Murray Cumming [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.murrayc.com www.openismus.com -- glom versioned dependency on libglom https://launchpad.net/bugs/60969 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 47932] Re: files renamed to be hidden do not get their icon updated on remote FS view
Ok, i did a quick test. Creating a file does what is expected, it creates the file in nautilus with a nice content displaying thumbnail. Renaming it to a hidden file however, does not remove the file from the view, but leaves the file name as it was clickable. An improvement over 5.10 is that it now can be clicked, and nautlius will magically open the hidden file instead of the visible filename. [Bug 28447] Re: [PATCH] two simple errors in /etc/init.d/mountall.sh
Florian, if you do: grep 'TIMEOUT' /etc/init.d/* you'll see that several start-up scripts change the timeout. You can try modifying checkfs.sh if you like.
