No such beast, I think: the official language of Cambodian is Khmer.

o Go to Google Translate (e.g. https://translate.google.com/ ).
o Paste in the left panel the URL http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5290 .
o In the right panel, select Khmer as the language.
o Click on the identical URL in the right panel.
o Follow the instructions in the last section (headed "How to open an
app that hasn't been notarized or is from an unidentified developer"
in the English version).

Or persuade your correspondent to do this.

The images will still be in English, of course, but they should be
close enough to whatever he is seeing to be helpful.

I trust this helps.

I can't help you with Cambodian, but the English instructions for
gatekeeper are in the 4.1.7 release Notes:
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/OOOUSERS/AOO+4.1.7+Release+Notes#AOO4.1.7ReleaseNotes-FormacOSusers.

There are 2 sets of instructions one for Up to 10.11 and another for
10.12. That should really be 10.12 and up. I will change that in the
Release Notes and in the Template.

Hello all,

I need help with a user on Facebook.
He speaks not very well English, and has issues with the gatekeeper on his Mac.

He seems to be from Cambodia (Google translate claim)

It would be cool if someone can jump in who speaks Cambodian or can point me to
a Cambodian Ressource how to handle the gatekeeper.

I already posted the link to the English forum with the article. (we had a wiki
article somewhere but I could not find it)

Thanks

2019-12-21 Thread Apo

Hallo,

unauffindbar heißt nicht futsch geschweige denn weg. In jeden Haushalt

wie manch anderes Progranmme auch, vorher, wo gespeichert werden soll;

Was heißt das "gelegentlich"? Was

If the file is missing from OO's /File /Recent documents, it should still be in
the directory in which it was originally saved. Start OpenOffice from Programs
button, use /File /Open and its navigation buttons to navigate to that
directory, select the file and press Open. It will open, and once again appear
on Recent Documents, which shows only the last ten files opened.

If the file doesn't open, then you have a more serious situation. To attempt
to recover your file, try the methods outlined in this Tutorial
https://forum.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=71=85038]
for ways to try and recover any temporary Writer files that may still be on
your computer.

If that doesn't help, then as soon as possible do the following:

Download Recuva or PhotoRec (only one needed) and let it do an indepth recovery
of deleted files on your computer. You may get a file containing some or all of
your data (or not). Do this as a first priority; other use of the computer may
overwrite any existing but deleted files and prevent their recovery. There is
no guarantee that you will recover anything useful. You may need to rename any
such files to type .ods.

This situation may have arisen because of Windows forcing an update on your
computer; it is reported that such updates may cause file loss if they occur
when files are open.
