[SOGo] Downgrade Thunderbird from 7.x to 3.1
Hello, Are here people with experiences to downgrade Thunderbird from 7.x to 3.1? My goal is to use the Sogo address book plugin. When it's possible to use it with Thunderbird 7.x I am interested in experiences too. Re: [SOGo] Downgrade Thunderbird from 7.x to 3.1
No, when one of our users accidentally upgraded to TB 7 we found issues using Sogo Connector Lightning Inverse. To fix, we simply put the previous version (3.1.9) back on. To be fair, I haven't bothered putting TB 7.x on my work machine because the Sogo Frontends only shows the add-ons for TB 3.1.x TB 2.x Sent from my iPhone On Nov 2, 2011, at 4:15 AM, Paul van der Vlis p...@vandervlis.nl wrote: Hello, Are here people with experiences to downgrade Thunderbird from 7.x to 3.1? [SOGo] Option to allow searching all sub-folders (webmail)
is there a chance to get something like thunderbird's mail.check_all_imap_folders_for_new option to allow all sub-folders to be searched for new mail? It's really crucial to have such a feature when making heavy use of filters to deliver incoming mail to different sub-folders. Otherwise you risk missing important mails. Right now that's what makes us keep horde as an additional web-mail interface. TIA Rainer -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
Re: [SOGo] CalDAV and iOS5
Hallo, I am using several iPhones with SOGo. We had the 4th iOS version on the smartphones, but two of us upgraded to iOS5. This broke our calendars. We all have at least two calendars. The problem show up in that way that we do not see all of our calendars. In my case, I have the standard calendar and a calendar called Test. After updateing I only get the Test calendar. Problem solved. The upgrade iOS-4-to-5 killed my CalDAV settings. In detail: the Account-URL was cleared. I fixed it by adding: https://u...@server.dom.tld/SOGo/dav/user/ on my system. After that my calendars reappeared. The one I used was the same I used with Mac's iCal: http://myserver/SOGo/dav/myusern...@domain.dom The best way to get the correct URL is to go to the web frontend, select the calendar, select Properties and copy the CalDAV URL from the tab Links to this calendar. For me this looks like https://sogo.mydomain/SOGo/dav/myusername/Calendar/46C-4E172380-1-7413EA80 Works fine for me with Thunderbird 7.0.1, and Lightning 1.0b7. [SOGo] Z-Push SOGo and OpenChange with MySQL

Some issues with OpenChange compilation and Z-Push SOGo calendar backend still in place and i'm still trying to make it work. Yes - but I cant explain how. We had a rogue package management system. People would upgrade their thunderbird using the internal upgrade system and our wpkg system would downgrade them back to 3.1. The only thing it would break is their addons that may have been upgraded at the same time. -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
[SOGo] iPhone strange behaviours
Title: Signature Matthieu ROGER Hello, I've got several customers on several servers using iPhone and Sogo (CardDav/CalDav) succesfully with Sogo version 1.9 But, with one specific customer, I get this issue : If I only configure CalDav calendar, everything is fine, synchro beetween Sogo and iPhone work like a charm. But when I add CardDav Addressbook, iPhone freezes on addressbook, I have to restart or reset iPhone. If I access first to the Calendar, I've got troubles with Addressbook and vice versa, if I access first to the Addressbook, synchronization between Sogo and iPhone is broken. On another hand, Sogo works perfectly using webinterface or sogo-connector in Thuberbird. So, I would like to know if other Sogo users have seen same issue than describe above and if the problem comes from a wrong Sogo server installation/configuration or a wrong iPhone configuration? Re: [SOGo] Downgrade Thunderbird from 7.x to 3.1
Did you do a downgrade or a new install? We uninstalled Thunderbird 7 and reinstalled TB 3.1.9, but we do not use a program like Revo Uninstaller to do additional cleanup. This should preserve the account settings, etc. and be automatically recognized when Thunderbird launches again. When it was a downgrade: did you see any problems? We didn't see problems doing the downgrade, we needed to get the user back to TB 3.1.9. If we ran into anything severe, I assume our techs would have completely uninstalled Thunderbird+Add-ons and started fresh. The email accounts are IMAP and Cal/CardDAV are used to pull the calendar data address book from the server so uninstalling client-side doesn't impact our user's. -Brendan *Brendan Murtagh* Email Administrator / IT Coordinator *PHONE*: (610) 874-5000 x2232 *FAX*: (610) 874-5030 *WEB*: http://www.powerhrg.com *Power Home Remodeling Group* *Awarded Window Door Magazine's Dealer of the Year Awarded The Top Workplace for Mid-Sized Companies by Philadelphia Inquirer Awarded to the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies List* /Visit our other websites and social platforms:/ Facebook http://www.facebook.com/PowerHRG | YouTube http://www.youtube.com/PowerHRG | PHRG Reviews http://www.phrgreviews.com | Total Care Installs http://www.totalcareinstalls.com Power Home Remodeling Group is an equal opportunity employer, committed to hiring a diverse and talented workforce. Forget about the headache of using different ports in the Apache config and then trying to use them in iOS or Mac OS X btw: i think it would be a boon if the config below could be added to the official documentation, you will find its original author by searching through this list's archive (it has been improved by several sources) Just point all of your iOS and Mac OS devices to use: dav.yourdomain.com:443 (even the :443 is optional!!) And just add this to your http.d config (remember to change yourdomain.com and your_ip to the proper values): VirtualHost your_ip:443 ServerName dav.yourdomain.com443 RewriteEngine On RewriteRule ^/principals/users/(.*)$ /proxy/$1 [PT] ProxyPassInterpolateEnv On ProxyPreserveHost On ProxyPass /proxy http://127.0.0.1:2/SOGo/dav/ interpolate ProxyPass /SOGo http://127.0.0.1:2/SOGo interpolate ProxyPass / http://127.0.0.1:2/SOGo/dav/ interpolate Proxy http://127.0.0.1:2/SOGo RequestHeader set x-webobjects-server-port 443 RequestHeader set x-webobjects-server-name dav.yourdomain.com RequestHeader set x-webobjects-server-url https://dav.yourdomain.com; RequestHeader set x-webobjects-server-protocol HTTP/1.0 RequestHeader set x-webobjects-remote-host %{REMOTE_HOST}e env=REMOTE_HOST AddDefaultCharset UTF-8 Order allow, deny Allow from all /Proxy RewriteEngine On RewriteRule ^/SOGo/(.*)$ /SOGo/$1 [env=REMOTE_HOST:%{REMOTE_ADDR},PT] /VirtualHost i hope this helps, Peter On Nov 2, 2011, at 3:19 PM, André Schild wrote: Am 02.11.2011 15:17, schrieb Imo Graf: The documentation use the port 8800 and this I have configured and it don't work. Grrr... Re: [SOGo] Z-Push SOGo and OpenChange with MySQL

Some issues with OpenChange compilation and Z-Push SOGo calendar backend still in place and i'm still trying to make it work. I wonder if anyone here successfully implemented the same solution and can share some tips from his/her experience. Can I turn that question around. All of the above is exactly what I would like to have... Can you give a quick summary of the steps that got you to the point you are currently at, especially with regards to Z-Push integration? Likely a few others will also be interested in getting this working and experiencing the same gremlins you have (and hopefully helping fix them!) Hello Imo, The message Starting httpd: [Wed Nov 02 17:26:19 2011] [warn] worker http://127.0.0.1:2/SOGo/dav/ already used by another worker is normal. I am suspecting your apache config on ssl part is something probably need to look. How is your apache config ? and the vhost part. You can send in my address if you want. The config I sent you earlier is perfectly working in my environement. I have all ipad, iphone, ical, are working fine with different virtualhost ports. As ludovic pointed also check the SOGo documentation, it also mentioned what to do for apple devices :) On Wed, Nov 2, 2011 at 2:30 PM, Imo Graf i...@parceval.de wrote: thanks sorry that I ask so much but now I get the next error: Starting httpd: [Wed Nov 02 17:26:19 2011] [warn] worker http://127.0.0.1:2/SOGo/**dav/ http://127.0.0.1:2/SOGo/dav/already used by another worker [FAILED] this I have by the another vhost too but apache starts and all works.
