Well, it depends on what you intend with properly. At first memcached
was not active (as I noticed on sogo logs). After this I started it,
with these parameters:
PORT=11211
USER=nobody
MAXCONN=1024

But nothing has changed about this performance issue.

Do you have in your SOGo config:

SOGoMemcachedHost 127.0.0.1

[SOGo] Multi domain: Share Calendar

2012-03-28 Thread jeanvanlord
Hello,

I will try to configure my Sogo with Multi domain.

I have configure it for Domain visibility and try it.

Domain1: user1
Domain2: user2

Login: Ok
See: User of 2 domain Ok.

When I try to share Calendar... problem.

Explication:

Log as user1 (Domaine 1): Share my agenda with user2(domaine2):

Ok i see the user and can add it.
I try to give perssion and receved this error:

An error occurred during object publishing

No such user.

After verification of the URL:

http://sogo/SOGo/so/user1@domain1/Calendar/personal/userRights?uid=user2@domain1

In the end of the URL, user2 have bad domain.

is it a bug of a bad configuration of me ?

Thanks in advance for your help,

Ps: If you need more details, do not hesitate :) thanks

[SOGo] problem with date format Disable auto reply on on vacation message

2012-03-28 Thread pereira.david37
Hi,

I have a problem with the date format in sogo when activating the end date for
the vacation message, there must be a javascript that checks the date in
English but my sogo is in French.

for example when I select the end date 02-04-2012 (French format).
I get the message End date of the automatic response should be in the future
whereas when I select the past date 04-02-2012 i don't have the message .

I also checked since the online demo version on http
://www.sogo.nu/fr/tour/online_demo.html and I have the same problem.

when I start sogo selecting the English language there is no problem even if I
put a date in 2011.

best regards
David

Here are some good cases:
- Some devices do only support ActiveSync
- You will get your Mails over a http-port, too
  (instead of 143/993 etc).
- Configuration is IMHO easier than with CalDAV etc.
- You need only one config on your device for three services

hi alessio,

for the use case where the mobile device has cardDav and calDav
support, you are absolutely correct.

In the case where only activesync is supported, then this extension
becomes quite valuable. there are many mobiles with only activesync and
nothing else.

Hello,

On iPhone there is a good native support for cardav/caldav and IMAP.
On Android there is good support with additional application.
However it is not the case of all phone especially the windows phone or
blackberry.

ActiveSync is just easier to setup and to provision for enterprise.
It also offer interesting feature for organization.
This is a good overview:

So to reply to our question, if you don't need anything ActiveSync

when it will have same write/modify functionality for caldav/carddav

[SOGo] Apple iCal vs. daylight time vs. RRULE

2012-03-28 Thread Thomas Paduch
Hi there,

since last weekend (switch to daylight time) there is an strange behavior
with Apple iCal (4.0.4 / Snow Leopard) and Events created via Web GUI.
All Events appears 1 hour later in Apple iCal. Events created with iCal
or Thunderbird+Lightning displayed still correctly in Apple iCal. Also
Thunderbird+Lightning and the Web GUI display all events correctly, only
iCal make something wrong.
The Timezone Support in Apple iCal is disabled.

If i change the RRULE in the STANDARD TIMEZONE Part of the event from:

RRULE:BYDAY=-1SU;FREQ=YEARLY;BYMONTH=10

to

RRULE:FREQ=YEARLY;BYDAY=-1SU;BYMONTH=10

the Event in Apple iCal will be displayed correctly. At this moment we

use an apache substitute (in the caldav vhost) as workaround:

  AddOutputFilterByType SUBSTITUTE text/html text/xml text/calendar
  Substitute
's|RRULE:BYDAY=-1SU;FREQ=YEARLY;BYMONTH=10|RRULE:FREQ=YEARLY;BYDAY=-1SU;BYMONTH=10|n'

... maybe it make sense to change the RRULE order for events created by
the Web GUI.

Best Regards,
  Thomas

[SOGo] Webservers other than Apache

2012-03-28 Thread Lukas Pirl

Hi users,

I recently came across this great project and it does look really
amazing! :)

Has anyone ever tried to setup SOGo with a web server other than Apache?
Especially I am interested in running SOGo with the Cherokee [1] web
server.

I found a post that said that SOGo relies on mod_ngobjweb [2]. Is it
part of the project philosophy to get SOGo portable for web servers

Re: [SOGo] ANN: sogosync - Open Source ActiveSync with caldav and cardav backend

2012-03-28 Thread Christian Reischl

Hi,

does someone know a solution to make it compatible with php5-fcgi?

The debug text shows the following error:
Access denied: no password sent

I tried these guides without success:
https://maurus.net/weblog/category/technology/php/
http://z-push.sourceforge.net/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=4t=1245p=5121

I use it on Debian Squeeze with the latest updates.

Regards,
Christian

SOGo Users,

This is a follow up on from this thread.
'[SOGo] Why not move from Funambol to Z-Push? Many features will be
obtained.', http://www.mail-archive.com/users@sogo.nu/msg08451.html
even farther from this reply,
http://www.mail-archive.com/users@sogo.nu/msg08828.html, on the same
suject.

I am pleased to announce sogosync, It is an unmodified Z-Push from svn
upstream (1.5.x branch) with caldav and cardav backend.

So far it is a read-only carddav and caldav and support multiple
addressbook and calendar.
I have also made the configuration easier with preconfigure file working
against http://sogo-demo.inverse.ca.
'public' addressbook are skip as they are provide by LDAP Z-push backend.
Email (IMAP) and GAL (Global Address List) support are provide by
standard Z-push backend.

It has been tested on iOS 5.0.1.

It is Open Source software released under AGPLv3 and host on Github.com.

Please feel free to feedback, contribute to the code, sponsor or donate.

Kind regards,
Francois

Re: [SOGo] Empty CardDav Addressbook in Thunderbird

2012-03-28 Thread Ed Driesen
Hey, had a similar issue by a faulty mysql configuration (password ,
access rights). As long as the user doesn't get the personal
calendar/adressbook was created in his mailbox, you won't be able to
access them.

90% of my misconfigurations where typo's and missing description in the
manual

Hope this helps you to look in the right direction.

Ed

Howdy List:

I'm sure I've missed some important step in the documentation, but I
haven't been able to find it.

I have sogo [nightly] installed on Ubuntu 10.04

I have the 10.01 connector/integrator running with lightning 1.2.3 on
Thunderbird ESR 10.0.3 [linux]. Calendar is working, but I keep
getting empty address-books (LDAP Addressbook is fine).

When run from a terminal, Thunderbird complains

CARDDavDirectory.js NO INTERFACE {some random seeming numbers}

I've attached all of the configurations for things I've modified. I'm
sure I've overlooked something in spite of multiple RTFMs (or added
things I shouldn't have from various places around the net).

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

James

Re: [SOGo] Empty CardDav Addressbook in Thunderbird

2012-03-28 Thread soap . sogo
Thanks, but I did get the address created notice. I should have been
clear, that I can view them in the SOGo web GUI (which is fantastic btw).

James

Hello Marcio Merlone

Did you try CalDAV-Sync and CardDAV-Sync?
http://dmfs.org/caldav/
http://dmfs.org/carddav/
I saw it on Google play, but it's not free and only syncs
calendar/contacts. Active sync is better since you set up only one
account for both plus email. Much nicer (besides read-only for now,
looking forward write also).
