Re: [SOGo] SOGo 2.0 ZEG strange timezone behavior

2012-10-29 Thread systeembeh...@z-netwerken.nl
Same problem here. Even after updating to Sogo 2.0.2. the problem still
occurs.
When creating an event in Outlook 2010 with normal time settings the
webinterface in SOGo is the same as in Outlook. When creating an all-day
event in Outlook, in SOGo webinterface it will display one day before
the day i created it in Outlook.

When creating an all-day event in Sogo it will sync to Outlook correct.

Kernel TimeZone is the same as the SOGo config.

Merijn

I had problems with all-day events created by MS Outlook using the MS
Exchange connection on my SOGo server. Therefore I decided to test
it on

the latest ZEG edition but the problem persist.

I setup SOGo, system and Windows to use the same timezone in ZEG. I
found a strange behavior - if the timezone is GMT or any other GMT +h
zone then all all-day events created with MS Outlook (2007, 2010) go
one

day back in the web interface. For example if I create an all-day event
to happen on 25th Oct in Outlook it is displayed as an all-day event on
24th Oct in SOGo.

If I setup the time zone as any GMT -h zone everything works fine.

Regards,
Michal Kminek

Can you retest with the next nightlies. The timezone files have been
regenerated, so it shoult not fix the problem with existing events
but it should

for new ones...

The fix will be part of 2.0.2, which is due monday or tuesday...

That seems to be the same bug I reported Wednesday. My bug occurs from
the web UI : did you tried also ?
Also the bug I encounter appears for a few hours/days a disappear
without any config change.

So this could be related to timezones ?

Julien Escario

Does anyone have a clue? I'm new to sogo and struggling to find a solution
 to this.

Did you update sope packages too?

AFAIK the problem was fixed in them and not in sogo.

[SOGo] Parsing sieve rules

2012-10-29 Thread Marco Coli

In 0001819 sogo changed his behaviour regarding sieve rules parsing.

This caused a problem in our organization, where a system manager
prepares and mantains sieve rules for users (enabling
SOGoSieveScriptsEnabled on a temporary basis).
Most of the time he set SOGoSieveScriptsEnabled to no, avoiding the
modification of rules directly by the users.

After 0001819 this seems no longer possible, beacause with
SOGoSieveScriptsEnabled set to no, there is no more sieve rules parsing.

Do you have a workaround or a suggestion for our scenario?

Thank you

[SOGo] SOGoUIAdditionalCSSFiles

2012-10-29 Thread gerard breiner
Hello,

Given I customized the login page, I first copied the template SOGoRootPage.wox
in /home/sogo/GNUstep/Library//SOGo/Templates/MainUI/. Given too I had to
modified the SOGoRootPage.css It comes good sense to copy this file to the
same path so that to prevent that an upgrade replace my changes.
So I tried...
defaults write sogod SOGoUIAdditionalCSSFiles
(/home/sogo/GNUstep/Library/SOGo/Templates/MainUI/SOGoRootPage.css).
service sogo restart.
However it seems it is still the original file that is loaded.
Could you please tell me what is wrong ?

Best regards.

We had that one too, but only twice.
It is caused by one (!) email, which can't be processed by SOGo.

In order to fix this, you have to find the email causing this, and
delete it with e.g. thunderbird.
Then SOGo works again as before.

We couldn't provide these emails to the developers, so they couldn't
reproduce it yet.
Perhaps you can, this would definitely help us all :-)

[SOGo] recursive sharing

2012-10-29 Thread Jean-Michel OLTRA

Hi all,

Is recursive sharing of folders enabled ? Or may be I missed something
in the server configuration ?

If I share INBOX with user foo, and create an new folder D1 in INBOX,
the D1 folder is not shared with the user foo.

Feature ? Misconfiguration ?

If feature, wouldn't it be possible to have a configuration option to
enable recursive sharing ?

Thanks.

Hello,

I think this depends on the behaviour of your imap server.
Cyrus for example inherits the ACL to newly created children.

Davor, thank you! DRBD looks perfect!
I'll use that, and a DNS failover to switch incoming requests to the
 backup location/server.

Question, a little off topic but do you know if DRBD or a heartbeat
service can automatically change DNS entries for failover?

With heartbeat you normally use a service DNS name and IP address.
This IP will be switched to the current running system.
With this you don't need to change DNS at all.
This has the advantage, that your clients will always see the same
service name and IP.
It also has the advantage that you don't have to reduce your DNS TTL for
this entry, in order to switch fast.

But I don't know, if this is possible for you, as you have two different
locations.
If they use different IP ranges, then it can not work, because you have
to route differently.

Re: [SOGo] Backup Redundant System

2012-10-29 Thread Carlin Hefner
Thanks Christian, the 2 locations are VPN'd together, but have 2 different
WAN IPs. I guess I could set up both the routers to port forward to the HA
virtual LAN IP, then it wouldn't matter which location the query comes in
on, it will always go to the available server.

Wow this has gone so off topic from SOGo, I do apologize.

Thanks for all your help, I think I have a general idea of how to set this
up, once I get the hardware and start, I may have more questions lol.

but I compile both SOGo and SOPE from sources and official repository

includes last versions of SOGo and SOPE 2.0.2 from 24-Oct-2012 - it means

So - was the problem in the source codes (if so, where we can find the
