[SOGo] Clean database and old users
Hello, Is there any way to clean the SOGo database, I mean: - Clean old users (sogo-backup.sh script detects unknown users) - Remove useless calendars (sogousernameXX tables). For example, I have 2x3 tables for my user: Schema | Name | Type | Owner +--+--+--- public | sogorvercher0013551b596 | table| sogo public | sogorvercher0013551b596_acl | table| sogo public | sogorvercher0013551b596_quick| table| sogo public | sogorvercher00969bf6c38 | table| sogo public | sogorvercher00969bf6c38_acl | table| sogo public | sogorvercher00969bf6c38_quick| table| sogo Kind Regards, Rémi -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
[SOGo] Activesync does not sync contacts
Hello, I tried active sync today on a recent SOGo server with all updates applied with my Galaxy S4 phone. However, I do not receive any contacts. Mail, tasks, and calendar seem to sync fine. Any ideas? I do not see something that seems relevant in the server logs. Thank you. Best regards Heiner -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
Re: [SOGo] Contacts and Appointments are not shown (missing folder for fetch)
Thanks for your hint - but I think I have already checked. What I have done: In /home/sogo/GNUstep/Defaults/sogod.plist SOGoFolderInfoURL mysql://sogo:sogo@localhost:3306/sogo/sogo_folder_info Same mysql connection data for the other relevant entries Entry in sogo_folder_info for c_location: mysql://sogo:sogo@localhost:3306/sogo/sogoHolger0022de8dc9b Table sogoHolger0022de8dc9b exists Via command line I tried to connect with given credentials: mysql --user=sogo --password=sogo sogo There was no problem... Maybe there is a better way to check the SOGo / MySQL connection? Best Regards Holger Am Mittwoch, 01. [SOGo] SOGo packages for RHEL / CentOS 7
Hello ! For the brave among us always wanting to test new shiny toys such as a new RHEL release, I've created a testing repository containing SOGo packages for RHEL / CentOS 7 : https://copr.fedoraproject.org/coprs/jaile/sogo/ The only other needed repo in addition to this one should be EPEL. What's included : - all dependencies needed by SOGo which are not already present in base / epel - a nice systemd service unit to replace the legacy sysv init script What's not working yet : - no openchange integration / no activesync : it looks like the current situation of openchange/samba4 in RHEL7 is a bit messy, the openchange package in base is apparently missing some necessary bits, and the openchange package from sogo.nu won't build against the samba4 package in base ... Please feel free to provide feedback and report issues ! Gilles -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

[SOGo] Contacts and Appointments are not shown (missing folder for fetch)
Hi, First my setup: System Ubuntu 14 64bit Sogo V 2.2.9a-1 Authentification via Samba Database is mySQL mail: postfix/dovecot after upgrading my system to trusty I had to reinstall samba and to setup the user profiles in Samba again. Since then i have strange effects: - it takes several seconds until mails are shown, but it works correctly - has been much faster before - Appointments are not shown. In log there is the error message [ERROR] <0x1D34C638[SOGoAppointmentFolder]:personal> (-[SOGoAppointmentFolder fetchFields:from:to:title:component:additionalFilters:includeProtectedInformation:]): missing folder for fetch! I already take a look at table sogo_folder_info . It looks fine and the table which is in c_location looks also fine and contains the data I am awaiting to see... - Contacts are not shown either. There are no relating messages but I think that this is the same topic as for the appointments Does anybody has an idea or can give me an hint where I have to look? [SOGo] Edit from address for user
Hi All, Forgive me if this is an answered question, but I saw some time back some banter between people that a feature like being able to change the default domain name (eg., domain1.com to domain2.com) in the user's preferences setup might be useful. This would be where a person works in a company that has two (or more) registered domains and the user needs to be 'seen' as coming from domain2.com instead of domain1.com. They only login to the SOGo web interface as 'john' or 'david'. On a customer's server at some point in the setup (can't recall what I did but it works), the user can select either domain1.com or domain2.com when compiling an e-mail using the SOGo web interface, but the issue is the respective user's setup in preferences are greyed out and only work for the domain1.com - they cannot change this to domain2.com. I have seen the tech details on modifying the .GNUstepDefaults for multiple domains based on ldap - do I need to do this given they just want to change their core sending domain for the specific user - the user does not belong to multiple domains. Hoping I hear something but will keep digging for now to see if it was ever put in as a feature that I have missed over time :-) -- As always, I remain at your service.
