It works for Roundcube, Openfire, GLPI, etc. Similar to a feature request I made, which was added to sogo, to show the public gravatar.com thumbnail photo, associated with any email address found in the header of any email message... As I said, there's open source code for getting and displaying the jpegPhoto and thumbnailPhoto from the AD / LDAP attributes. This should be easily added to sogo. Every email address should show the small picture of the person next to it, it's a great way to make messaging more user-friendly today. -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

[SOGo] Sogo doesn't save unknown recipients to my Collected Address Book
Hi guys. This is my first time I write in this list. I have a problem with my Sogo installation. My installation is based on Mysql platform as User Store. SOGoUserSources variable in /etc/sogo/sogo.conf refer to a mysql database. In Sogo graphic console, I checked option "When sending mail, add unknown recipients to my Collected Address Book" and I saved configuration. But when I send email to unknown recipients, nothing is saved in Collected Address Book. Where is the problem? Could You help me please? Thank You in advance. -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

Re: [SOGo] Samba conflict on Debian Jessie
I successfully build samba 4.3.9 and openchange 2.4-zentyall22 but I have an error when I try to build sogo-openchange. Can I only build only sogo-openchange or I have to build all SOGo project to build the openchange part? There the error I get: Linking bundle SOGoBackend ... /usr/bin/ld: ne peut trouver -lSOGo collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status /usr/share/GNUstep/Makefiles/Instance/bundle.make:205: recipe for target 'SOGoBackend.MAPIStore/./SOGoBackend' failed make[3]: *** [SOGoBackend.MAPIStore/./SOGoBackend] Error 1 /usr/share/GNUstep/Makefiles/Instance/bundle.make:193: recipe for target 'internal-bundle-run-compile-submake' failed make[2]: *** [internal-bundle-run-compile-submake] Error 2 /usr/share/GNUstep/Makefiles/Master/rules.make:298: recipe for target 'SOGoBackend.all.bundle.variables' failed make[1]: *** [SOGoBackend.all.bundle.variables] Error 2 /usr/share/GNUstep/Makefiles/Master/bundle.make:37: recipe for target 'internal-all' failed make: *** [internal-all] Error 2 Le 11/07/2016 17:16, Patrice Levesque (pleves...@inverse.ca) a écrit : But of course nothing prevents you from compiling and installing Samba 4.4 out-of-band on Jessie, then compiling and installing SOGo/OpenChange yourself. -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
[SOGo] AD avatar

[SOGo] Openchange with existing AD
Hi, I have a setup using the latest SOGO (3.1.4) and I can get most of it working. I have installed the activesync and I'm able to get our Android device working with SOGO. I can also have the IMAP working with TB. I have installed the outlook sync plugin and can get Task/calendar working with it. I use the IMAP for outlook (2007/2010) and it's woring too. ! Wow i'm impressed. Good work. Now I wonder if I take the road of implementing the openchange part. I have an existing AD (zentyal) with the schema updated to openchange. Since I have installed the SOGO completely indépendent of my AD (xenial), the openchange is not installed (for now). - Is it possible to use the openchange on a linux that is not a DC ? (only member of the domain) - When I create a new user do I need to create something else in my schema to get the new user working on outlook ? - Is the effort to get this working give advantages ? regards Jonathan -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

I used to run sogo (version 2.x.x) installed from the official Debian repositories. A couple of months ago I switched to the Inverse repos to upgrade my deployment to the 3.x.x versions. I thought everything coming from the Debian repos was purged long ago, but sogo-common did not, so when I (as a routine) cleaned up the server by doing an apt-get autoremove, sogo-common and the files belonging to it, disappeared. Probably this files should belong to the sogo package that Inverse provides, preventing this kind of issues, don't know what you think about. Anyway, apt-get install sogo --reinstall, sorted things out for good. Many thanks for the reply. Best. -- Pablo Abelenda signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature
RE: [SOGo] Install on Raspberry Pi2
Hi, Yes, I am using Sogo 3 for on my Raspberry 2 running Raspbian I never tried OpenChange and I am not using ActiveSync although I complied it some time ago. As I lost some part of my 'documentation' the below might miss the one or the other step. Compilation is quite straight forward, just following the instructions in the manual (https://sogo.nu/nc/support/faq/article/how-do-i-compile-sogo-2.html) Depending on your system you might have to install several programs/tools first. For me I needed: apt-get install gnustep gnustep-make gobjc libxml2-dev ldap-utils libmysqlclient-dev libssl-dev libldap2-dev libmysqlclient-dev libpq-dev gnustep-core-devel libmemcached-dev libcurl4-openssl-dev postgresql-server-dev-all tmpreaper sudo apt-get install gnustep-make gnustep-base-runtime devscripts \ debhelper libgnustep-base-dev gobjc libxml2-dev libldap2-dev libssl-dev \ zlib1g-dev libmysqlclient-dev libmemcached-dev memcached libpq-dev \ libcurl4-openssl-dev libsbjson-dev libwbxml2-dev libmapi-dev libmapistore-dev libmapiproxy-dev libwbxml2-dev cmake 1) Compile SOPE ./configure --with-gnustep --enable-debug --disable-strip --prefix=/usr/System make make install 2) Compile SOGO ./configure --enable-debug --disable-strip --prefix=/usr/System make make install You also need to create a user:group named sogo. After starting Sogo several files and settings are missing. I fixed these issues with: (from your sogo instal-directory) install -D -m 644 Scripts/sogo-default /etc/default/sogo install -D -m 644 packaging/debian/sogo.overrides /usr/share/lintian/overrides/sogo install -D -m 644 Apache/SOGo.conf /etc/apache2/conf-available/SOGo.conf install -D -m 644 Scripts/sogo.cron /etc/cron.d/sogo install -D -m 644 Scripts/logrotate /etc/logrotate.d/sogo install -D -m 750 /etc/sogo/ install -D -m 640 Scripts/sogo.conf /etc/sogo/sogo.conf ( I was just following hints and examples I found in various forums etc in a trial and error approach, so honestly I am not really clear what is needed ... Nevertheless, I hope the above might help someone) -Original Message- From: users-requ...@sogo.nu [mailto:users-requ...@sogo.nu] On Behalf Of Christian Mack Sent: Tuesday, 12 July 2016 22:42 To: users@sogo.nu Subject: Re: [SOGo] Install on Raspberry Pi2 Hello Am 12.07.2016 um 16:12 schrieb Sebastian Pfohl (sebast...@pfohlnet.de): > > Is it possible to install SOGo on a Raspberry Pi2 with Raspbian? > There where users on this list with Arm-Boards.
