Re: [Videolib] DVD companies

They are both bootlegger/ Pirates. A few tell tale signs
Liquidation lists all titles as region free The major US rights
holders NEVER put out region free.
In a more common sense issue there is really no chance that a web site
you never heard of has exclusive copyrighted major rights holder
product. Some studios now sell direct, some have made exclusive deals
with TCM and a few other large places but each of these lists shows
that are clearly NOT public domain. The other huge sign is that
neither lists the studio which any legitimate release would have. One
last thing is that I loved THE BIG VALLEY but only seasons 1 2 have
been legally released.

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
 distributors.

Also, if you look at their FAQ section, the answer to how they have titles
never released before is:

We have many Limited Edition DVD Box Sets that the 'big guys' overlook or are
simply not interested in selling. The entire purpose of our website is to
provide otherwise unavailable films or television shows to the serious
collector.
