Update on alternative recording apps
Hello everyone, this is Chris here. Just an update. Thank you so much for all your suggestions. I took a closer look at Audio Share Audio Document Manager, and it looks pretty good! But lol! When I first tried it, I thought the record external input button meant that; record from an external input device like a microphone. In other words, I thought the app couldn't record from the built in one. Turns out it can! So because of that, I deleted it the first go round since I thought it would not be useful. Anyway, it's a definite keeper this time round! I also like the normalize feature! How cool is that! The iPod Touch 5th gen is almost a phone, without the phone chip, so it won't do calls, not those calls at least, but it will do the rest the phone will do. While you can't perform a full software restore on the device itself, you can wipe all your data and set up your device as new. This is sufficient in most cases. However, this will not work in Dan's case, because to do so he would need to enter his restrictions passcode. So if you wanted to play 10 defend game with people. It will cost you +1 for each of those games. You can make gold by doing a variety of things. Plus, as you have mentioned. You can also use your Gold for the Dice World store. It contains quite a few things you may be interested in. I know with my iPod 5th Generation, all I have to do is on each message I want to delete, swipe down with one finger and then double tap on the delete button. If this does not work, then you have to adjust the rotor to actions and then try swiping down with one finger again. Not sure if this works on anything before the iPod Touch 5th gens, or on what iPhones it works with. VoiceOver would announce On and Off, but I couldn't seemingly set things to On in the app. The way I got the settings applied was by removing the app from the App Switcher window, and then relaunching it again with headphones connected. At that point an alert window came up announcing Headphones Detected, Are these the Sennheiser HD 280 Pro that you currently have selected? The button options were Yes, use these, Choose New Headphones and Turn Off Audyssey Technology. Double tapping Yes, use these, seemed to activate the headset profile use. You can try playing music tracks from your iTunes library library. The player controls for the track are at the bottom of the screen (buttons for previous track, play/pause, and next track, with a volume slider below). Double tapping a button that covers most of the screen shows or hides the information on track name and artist, time since start and to end of track, and repeat loop and shuffle controls, just above the player controls. You should be able to access custom controls for the app by double tapping the Audyssey button switched button at the top of the screen, just below the time on the status menu. Here the name of your selected headset gets announced, and there is an Audyssey Options Button that takes you to the Settings screen. However, double tapping Your Sound (the second entry) for customizing your sound, brings up controls that VoiceOver can't seem to interact with. Anyway, I'd be curious whether people find these app settings improve their listening experience, even without the further customization options. Also, if there's a way to get the custom controls working, or particular headsets that sound better, it would be interesting to know. This app has gone free for this week, only. CG stands for condensed game. You can change it to off by going in to settings for that particular team. just remember that you'll need to go back twice after making before hitting what is, I believe the done button. also the game condensed is a video version, with no audio. This kind of thing has happened to me once or twice. First, make sure that you are using a WIFI connection, and are receiving a good signal, i. e. 3 of 3 bars. If you still can't complete the download, delete and reinstall the app as if it were new. battery draining with battery case
Hi, Did any of you using battery cases notice faster draining of phone battery when it is not actually being charged by the case? I think I see this after having received a battery case as a gift and am not sure if it is a coincidence. I am wondering also because in the user guide they caution against plugging the phone into a computer that is turned off since this might drain the battery rather than charge it. I have not seen this, I keep my iphone 5 in the mophie juice pack case all the time. If you are concerned, you can keep the battery in the case enabled and the phone will use that battery first and then will use its own battery. For a long time, I typed with my right index finger while holding my phone in my left hand. However, then I found that if I put the phone in my lap or on a table and use both index fingers, I was able to type faster. As has been said before, whatever works best for you, use that method. audio boo 2 questions
Hi. Ok I have a couple of questions about the audio boo 2 app. I am in the my boos tab and have selected following. I am able to play the first lot of boos that appear there. My questions are: How do you now send someone a dm. I can see the options to share, and favourite also if I click load more to bring up more boos from people I have been following it plays the last boo. Hello Maria, I am really glad you like the Extra Bonus. It really is more useful in the Ballut and the Yahztee for me. The main problem I have is that for example. I rolled a 56 on my first roll because of the Bonus option to unPig that die. Thus, really making it almost a bit unfair. I dunno know. I've also got 4000 on a single roll as well on the Farkle game. New to version 3 (via another in-app purchase) is Amplitube Studio, which is a DAW package allowing basic recording and editing. It offers a reasonable feature set that includes the ability to click and drag tracks around, create fades, split and trim audio files, punch-in record and loop sections for playback. Each track has a VU meter, three-band EQ, fader, pan knob and two master effects sends (only one on the iPhone). Solo and mute buttons are also available per track. Audiobus integration and support for Audio Copy/Paste allows Amplitube Studio to communicate with other iOS music apps. A feature referred to as 'effects freeze' allows you to use a separate rig for each track. You record your guitar signal dry and apply the guitar rig settings during playback. This allows you to go back and change the rig after recording, which is especially handy if you're not happy with the way something is sitting in the mix. This is all good stuff, but not everything is rosy in the garden. I would have expected a few more amps and effects to be included with a third-generation app. Too much time is wasted cancelling out unwanted pop-up dialogues asking if you'd like to make an in-app purchase, and some presets that come loaded with the core app can't be used until you buy the missing amp or effects. Survivor z: game I found
Hey all, while suffering from insomnia last night I was browsing the app store for games and came across one called survivor z. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/survivor-z/id578747229?mt=8 It is a game which takes place after a zombie attack and it uses location services to use establishments in your area as you play the game. Much of it is a text story line which you select what you want to do from choices you are given. Much of it appears accessible though it sometimes takes a bit of patience. For instance, after you read the text you have to tap the screen in order to see what the options are. Also, after I chose my character to be female I had to close the app and reopen so that I could get into the game. The few parts which appear inaccessible currently are the inventory and fighting settings. I can't seem to view all my items. I was curious if anyone else has tried this game and if they had any success with the inventory. I am going to contact the developer and see if they are willing to make the rest of the game accessible. Yes there is music and sounds. They have music for fighting and one for the story line. You hear gun shots when you fight. Now, I don't think the sound track is that great but that is just my opinion. I can't seem to find a way to contact the developer though so that I can ask if they can make it accessible. Could you possibly be thinking of either YouPlayer or McTube? YouPlayer is what I use, and it seems to be pretty popular. Both apps have entries on AppleVis. I find the interface, at least as far as I still know, of YouPlayer to be cleaner. I'm not sure if that's still the case, because I got rid of McTube pretty quickly after finding out about YouPlayer. I'm not quite sure why I got rid of McTube, but I did, and I've stuck to YouPlayer ever since.
