Hi Jed,
Just delete and reinstall the LinkedIn ap. I faced the same issue and I 
applied the same trick which solved the problem.

reading in Kindle versus ibooks

I have read many books in the Kindle app.  While there are a couple things I 
don't like about it, I generally rely on Kindle for getting current books I 
want to read.  The other day I was looking at the iBooks app.  I like the page 
navigation option at the bottom of the screen, but don't seem to have as much 
success moving forward and backward by small increments within a page.  For 
those who have used both apps, why do you prefer one over the other?

On a related note, where do you search for and buy ibooks?  I must have done it 
once, as there is a book in my ibooks library, but nothing seems obvious in 
where I buy music or in the ibooks app.

Hey there.  Well, i've been using this app for years, literally.  I
was literally messaging someone this afternoon with no problem.  I've
tried everything, and it just dumps me out of the app, or atleast it
appears to.  When i click on a message it puts me back on the page
from where i launched the linked in app.  However, the app is still
open if i go to the app switcher.  It only flips out when i click on a
message.  this came out of nowhere, literally.  Any ideas?

mentioned it to the developer, he told me that he could reproduce it when 
using VoiceOver, and that it was an Apple bug. (It had to do with the 
presence or detection of an onscreen ad. Not his exact words.)

I am asking this for a friend.  She is trying to install the latest version of 
iTunes on her computer.  It has never had iTunes on it before and is a Windows 
7 64 bit computer.  When they try to install it about half way along on the 
install something comes up about publishing and then an error comes up.  They 
talked with an Apple rep on the disability line and tried disabling defender

OT: Help: Reading flash drive on Mac

I know this is off topic, but I really got a nasty surprise. Please help and 
forgive.

On my braillenote on a flash drive I have 2 folders. One is called Books and 
the other is Lessons. When I put my flash drive in my Mac I used 
command-shift-C to get the list of drives. I found the flash drive, but when I 
opened it all there was for reading were numbers, not books and lessons. 
Please, please tell me what I did wrong. If they have to be copied and moved to 
read the files, where do I paste them. This is the first time I have tried to 
use a flash drive on my mac. Thanks so much.

multitrack recording with fade-out or in

Hello, 

can anyone recommend accessible software to record on the iphone with following 
features: 
Ability to add background 'track and control volume level individually add some 
effects such as fade out at specific spots,  Maybe experimenting with reverb? 

Is garageband workable for these features?

in ages because there hasn’t been an update and I don’t know how well it works

Before you give up on Downcast I had a problem with it recently of it crashing 
a lot. I contacted the developer and he said that I probably had too many items 
downloaded in my feeds and he was right as I had literally hundreds. I did a 
clear-out and now it’s fine and dandy. Also running the betas will make it 
unstable too (along with a lot of other apps in my experience).

I love Downcast so much that I’d even recommend deleting it altogether and 
reinstalling if it would sort it out rather than moving to something else. You 
can export or sync your feeds so you won’t have to enter them all again 
manually.
