That is why this case works with the iPhone 8 and SE 2020, but not the iPhone 7
or earlier 4.7 inch models.

It is in stock. I read some of the reviews. Some were complaining about no
wireless charging. That is there fault it is clearly stated no wireless
charging supported. One complained because they dropped it and the phone
broke. That could’ve happened even with an otter box on the phone. I’m not
saying buy it or not. I’m saying look at the reviews and see if the complaints
are valid. If it says no wireless charging and people don’t read the
description that is not the companies fault.

yes, it is possible.

Below is what I did today:

i double tapped on the MLB audio tab

there is a button : previous day

I double tapped and screen displayed previous day games.

I double tapped on pirates vs. cubs and the broadcast of yesterday's game began
, from the beginning

There were buttons to select games from other dates as well.

hope this helps.

Re: bathroom scale that connects to iPhone

2021-04-04 Thread Donald Raikes
I looked at the arboleaf scale on amazon and it is definitely in my
price range right now. Does it just use bluetooth or is it wifi
connected as well. The description was unclear about the
connectivity. I would prefer to have something wifi enabled so I
don't have to have my phone with me when i get on the scale since I
usually leave my iPhone in my office to charge at night and I would
want to use the scale first thing in the morning.

RE: how to listen to major league games from a previous day

2021-04-04 Thread Les Kriegler
Hi Paul,

Great catch. I had no idea the radio broadcasts are archived. As you listened
to the Cubs game, I hope you are a fan of the team.

Best,

yes, it is possible.

RE: New Nenrent true wireless ma5000 battery case for the iPhone Se2020

2021-04-04 Thread Dennis Long
It is in stock.

Subject: InstantPot Smart WiFi

Hello,

I am trying to use our Instant Pot Smart Wi-Fi to cook our Easter dinner but it
has been a few months since I last used it. I opened the Remote Control for
Smart Wi-Fi app, but it seems as though the app may not be as accessible as it
was when I last used it. Does anyone on this list that uses this cooker have
input on how someone who is blind can use this app to operate the Instant Pot?

Thank you,

Scott

Re: New Nenrent true wireless ma5000 battery case for the iphone Se2020

2021-04-04 Thread Brad Snyder
The fractured English tells me this product is from a no-name Chinese company,
which makes me suspect that the battery is of low quality, and will charge very
slowly.
If it were me, I’d skip this one, and look for something from Mophie, or
another reputable brand name.

Hi. Has anyone else bought and tried this case. It’s a wonderful price on
Amazon of
$16.99. I love its design but can’t work out how the power is used. It has a
button on the back that supposedly turns on charge with a single tap and turns
charge off with a double tap but I can’t determine whether the phone draws
power from the battery first or the phone’s internal battery first. The
documentation to me is unclear. Hope someone else has bought this thing and
figured it out.

RE: New Nenrent true wireless ma5000 battery case for the iphone Se2020

2021-04-04 Thread Larry Lumpkin
The phone goes into the case very easily. It supposedly gives 1.5 times more
life to the phone. The manual isn’t very good being written in fractured
English.

I would be interested in a review if anyone does buy it. For example how much
longer do you get out of the phone before you have to charge the phone and
case? Does the case charge after the phone is charged? How long do you need
to leave the phone and case on the charger to charge them both? How hard is it
to get the phone into the case?

2021-04-04 Thread Joshua Hendrickson
Larry to answer your question, it would only make sense that with this
battery case, you would use your iPhone's battery first, then when it
was running low, just hit the button to begin charging your iPhone
with the battery case. Once your iPhone reached a full charge, just
hit the button twice to stop the charge.

Anthony,

It seems you have gotten the punctuation option set to “all.”

There are at least two ways to correct this:

1) Check to see if the rotor has the punctuation setting included. If so, you
will likely see it has been set to “all” in which case simply flick up or down
until it identifies the level of punctuation you prefer.

2) You can likewise open “Settings,” locate the Accessibility option, select
the VoiceOver button (this will not turn VO off, but rather open an additional
dialog where you will find the “Speech” button wherein (I believe) the
punctuation level can likewise be adjusted to your liking.

That TMobile ads is for MLB TV, so you get access to all the TV broadcasts as
well as the radio. Regular price I think for that is around $120 per year.

But, you can get MLB audio, for just the radio broadcast and the occasional

Car Radio and iPod touch

2021-04-04 Thread Fanus Buys
Hello list
My wife got a new vehicle. I tried to connect my iPod Touch 6th Gen via
bluetooth and the strange thing is that voiceover goes dead i.e. it is not
carried over to the car radio as is in the case with my other vehicle. It is
also silent on the iPod. My iPod has IOS12 installed which is the latest
version it can take. Does anyone have an idea why this happens?
Regards
Fanus

AirPod Pro vs. Max

2021-04-04 Thread Pete Nalda
Since, a while back I brought up a dialogue about using AirPod max outdoors, in
public and away from home. There are issues that have been discussed. That
said, I have done some introspection, and decided to make use of my AirPod pros
again.
What I find, is that there are steps that can be taken to keep the device
from being lost should they fall out of the ear. One search device are the ear
clips, which I have found that I cannot absolutely cannot stand, they are
probably better for me, because I don’t tend to stick the AirPods tightly into
my ears. That is the problem for me, I love my bass and if The AirPods are not
sitting firmly in the ear canal, you lose base response. I feel like I lose
some already compared to the AirPod max. VE other option is the little straps
that you can buy to go around your neck to secure The devices from falling
completely off. Be careful with this option though, as there are two options
out there on Amazon. Choose the more expensive option, the less expensive
option seems to be incompatible with the pro version of the AirPods. Something
about where they sit on the stem. The $12.95 option seems to be compatible with
the AirPod pros.
Another aspect of the virtues of the AirPod pro, is that you can wear any type
of hat, and you don’t have to remove the device to put on mask mask. That’s
something that’s really convenient. Will I use my max less now, probably so.
And to me, I’m not so sure that justifies the price. But I have them, and I
will keep them for here at home. I can still use them for trips outside, where
I don’t have to confront traffic, and I can quickly move inside should
inclement weather present itself. So all in all I think I love both devices,
and they both have their pros and cons. Another con of the AirPod max before I
forget is also weather. In terms of heat, they are hot on the head just a
little bit, due to their weight. So in closing again I do love both devices.
