Pete and others, my apologies for that dictated message; something went 
haywire, I’d deleted it by holding down delete key and thought I was dictating 
into a blank field, but several things were duplicated.  Not sure what the heck 
happened.

Thanks for the info re cord for Airpods and also the tip about Bose Frames 
being somewhat low in volume when in noisy environments.

You absolutely can, Apple sells them and they even still sell the Earpods with 
3.5mm plug as well as the lightning ones of course and you can usually find 
them also on Amazon for cheaper. I also saw a post where somebody said you can

And the sound quality of the Earpods is really quite good as well. Of course 
they won't have the base of a large headset with 40mm or 50mm drivers, but they 
have amazing clarity and transparency.

What an enlightening conversation this has been!  I absolutely love the comment 
about EarPods being the best value for the money cord inconvenience not 
withstanding. You won’t run out of battery, *and* you have physical controls. 
The largest love of my heart will always be AirPod Max, looking like an alien 
is not an issue for me, but safety for me, and my Max are. So they get the 
least amount of use, but I’m so grateful for owning them!

The idea sounds nice and with the finger print id on the power button  like the 
air 4,

But my question is when do they release the mini with a smart folio keyboard?

That to me is one big thing missing from the mini a keyboard that works

Please note, no official announcement I know of has come from Apple.
But, Mac Rumors, and about every other rumor mill says it will be out this fall 
with no home button, etc.
Physically about the same size though probably thinner.

Yes but be aware that even with the bose frames they can get hard to hear if 
there is surrounding noise such as your walking through a heavy traffic area,

I’m finding that the more environmental noise the hard to hear them.

Possible Navigation Issue When Swiping

Hi All,

Runnning an SE2020 phone with iOS14.6.  This swiping issue started awhile 
back , even before iOS 14.6 and I've finally decided to address it.  The 
best way to explain is to give an example.

When I'm in Accessibility / under the Physical and Motor heading and I 
double tap, Touch, to open, this is what happens.

I swipe right and I can only get to, Shake to undo, and I can't go any 
further, unless I go to the vertical scroll bar and it'll be at 50% of 6 
pages.

I can take the scroll bar to 60, 70or what ever percentage to get to a 
couple of other options after touching the Home Screen, but if I want to go 
any further I have to use the scroll bar again.

If I take the scroll bar to 100% and touch the Home Screen and then swipe 
left to come back then I can access the settings after the, Shake to undo on 
/ off button.

This is only one example, but I run into this very same navigation issue in 
other areas as well.

It almost seems like the screen is minimized or something like what happens 
in Windows sometimes and I don't have the room to navigate further until I 
use the scroll bar to maximize / expand the screen.  Does anyone know why 
this is happening?  Is there a setting that I've inadvertently changed, or 
is this normal behavior?  If it's a setting, would someone please give me a 
hard kick in the right direction to fix this?

Boy!  Dunno. My iPad mini five as a home button it gets a lot of use. So what 
the screen is a little smaller?  Finally on the newer iPad they may do away 
with the headphone jack. That would really be a bummer!But since it’s not out 
will have to see what it comes with

Re: attempting to remove a MFI device

Hi scott,
The problem was that the maid for iphone button was still visable. So that when 
I wanted to toggle VoiceOver, when I wanted to turn VO back on, both the Vo 
tripple click as well as the MFI button were both present and once VO was 
switched off, I was unable to toggle it back back on. Now, only the VO button 
is present on the tripple press of the home button instead of both buttons. So 
now, VO always has fockus when toggleing VO back on.

Please note, no official announcement I know of has come from Apple.
But, Mac Rumors, and about every other rumor mill says it will be out this fall 
with no home button, etc.
Physically about the same size though probably thinner.

Re: attempting to remove a MFI device

Hi Danny.
If it doesn't go away, you will still be able to pair new MFi hearing
aids in the future. i evaluated a pair of Oticon and then ReSound. I
was able to pair the ReSound hearing aids even though the oticons were
still listed after being removed.
I'm not sure why they advised you to reset everything, since you can
easily dump things out of the accessibility shortcut by visiting
settings, accessibility, accessibility shortcut. Unless I'm missing
something?

Yes, Superglue is used for this, but they do use medical grade glue in 
surgeries and such although the commercial stuff works as well, I have used it 
to seal cuts and such. What is typically sold as Liquid Bandaid is similar, but 
I think maybe not quite so strong and you have to apply quite a few layers 
letting them dry in between each time for a minute or so. I still would 
probably not use it to glue the Earpods or Airpods into my ear since I am not 
really looking for permanent attachment!

You absolutely can, Apple sells them and they even still sell the Earpods with 
3.5mm plug as well as the lightning ones of course and you can usually find 
them also on Amazon for cheaper. I also saw a post where somebody said you can 
get good deals for them on GroupOn.

What an enlightening conversation this has been!  I absolutely love the 
comment about EarPods being the best value for the money cord inconvenience 
not withstanding. You won’t run out of battery, *and* you have physical 
controls. The largest love of my heart will always be AirPod Max, looking 
like an alien is not an issue for me, but safety for me, and my Max are. So 
they get the least amount of use, but I’m so grateful for owning them!
