IPhone SE 2022

2022-08-24 Thread manyofus1980
Hi everyone

I have the IPhone SE 2020!

I want to upgrade later this year to the SE 2022 model.

Is there much of a difference between the SE 2020 and the SE 2022?

Does the SE 2022 still have a home button?

I want a phone with the home button, my main reason for sticking with the Se
model.

Shirley

Re: question if there is a tutorial on how to use google maps with vo or the other map apps with vo?

2022-08-24 Thread Richard Turner
I am not aware of one. the info at Applevis.com seems very old and out-dated.
The current version of Google Maps is 6.32 but most of their info is about
version 2 or 3 from about 8 years ago.
The app is relatively straight forward if you begin trial and error tests with
it.
At the top, you have your Quiry field, put your destination address or business
name in there and double tap search at the bottom.
Go back to the top left and start flicking until you find either Steps or
Start. It will probably default to driving directions, but you can adjust that
if you want.
spend some time experimenting, and come back with specific questions and I'm
sure someone here can help.

No, I don’t believe this is a bug but what I’d call a deficiency in the
functionality of the programmed app.

Hi List,

I use the native Mail app on my iPhone 13 Mini running iOS 15.6.1. When I open
the Mailboxes Back button in the upper left corner of the Inbox screen, I’m
presented with the Inbox at the top, followed by VIP, followed by the folders
available in my Gmail account. I want the ability to set the Sent Items folder
to show at the top just below the Inbox but cannot figure out a way to do this.
I’ve just about concluded that I can’t do it but thought I’d run the question
by those on this list before giving up. Any help with this issue would be
greatly appreciated.

app access is fine but I can't sign in to bard on my laptop. And yes,
I too am using the same credentials. I haven't found a ssolution
because when I try to change the password I get a message that says my
email isn't associated with any account. That indicates to me that the
problem is within bard, but I have no clue what that issue might be.

Anyway, I guess that isn't helpful except to say that isn't just you.

RE: how to answer phone call using an apple watch

2022-08-24 Thread Kevin Minor
Hi.

To answer a call on the Apple Watch, look for the answer button on it, then do
a one finger double tap on it. A 2 finger double tap doesn’t work.

Hope this helps.

Subject: how to answer phone call using an apple watch

Hi,

I am still not able to figure out how to answer an incoming call from my apple
watch. It is a series 7 watch. I have it paired to my phone.

When the call comes in and the phone starts ringing and the watch is making its
sound how do I answer the call on the watch? I have tried pressing the crown,
tapping the screen on the watch, swiping the watch face to see if there is an
answer button there but nothing seems to work.

Any help is appreciated.

2022-08-24 Thread Jennie Facer
When it tells you to put the Apple Watch in the frame, you want to double tap on the pair manually button. You don’t have to remember the watch name as the phone will automatically have it ready for you. You will have to double tap on that name, then the Apple Watch will give you a code to enter on your phone. That is how you pair a watch manually. At the beginning, make sure that you double tap on pair manually on both phone and watch.JennJenn and KumiOn Aug 22, 2022, at 7:14 PM, Loreal Lavigna wrote:I don’t need help in how to reset the watch. I’m not sure what you want to do. Your message sounds like you want to get your Apple Watch as if nobody did anything to it. If so, this would also erase the cell sim in it. If so, I don’t know how to do so.

If you just want to reset the watch, do one of the two following.

Press and hold the crown and side button at the same time for 10 seconds.

The other method might be where you’ll find other reset things. On your iPhone, open the Watch app. Unless you’ve done something else on another tab, you’ll find yourself where you need to be to do this. It’s the left tab on the bottom.
Go to General. In there, there’s a reset option. Perhaps there’s a reset to factory defaults.

Hope what I know helps, or at least gets you in the right direction.

I just got an Apple Watch Series 7, and while the T-Mobile in-store customer service person was willing and able to set my watch up for me, and attach it to my phone for me also, what are the steps for how to set an apple watch form factory

Subject: Re: Any Advice on Setting up the NLS e-Reader Humanware Braille
Display with iOS / iPad OS?

Hi Mark. If you ask your library they should subscribe you to the NLS Ereader
newsletter. If they don't, I can find the subscription information for you,
but for all intents and purposes they should connect you with it.

I use mine with my Iphone all the time.

I connect it like any other braille display, go to accessibility, voiceover,
braille, and when it shows your display it should say NLS Humanware Ereader
with a number after it. I then go to bluetooth and make sure it's showed up in
there, sometimes you have to turn that off and on to get it to see it, but I
haven't had to do that since the last couple updates. Now when I go to braille
display on the ereareader, and to connected displays, it will say, HP Users
Iphone with the six dots after the word iphone, and that is how you know you're
connected. Usually It won't show those cells up right away and I press enter,
and then it connects. I had lots of trouble getting it to connect a while back
but haven't had any problems with it for a long time.

I hope this helps you, if not let me know.

Take care,

Patti
