My best solution is to remove the contacts. I can now prevent them from 
syncing. You mentioned the settings app. Can that simplify removing  contacts? 
I really would like to scroll through a list of contacts and flick up or down 
to remove a contact instead of having to open the contact to delete it.

So it sounds like you want to just remove Outlook contact syncing and not 
remove the contacts.

I would give you specific instructions on doing this, but my IOS devices are 
not available at this time.

But the search functionality in the settings app can probably help.

Why don't you just set up your Outlook account on your iPhone, that way 
whatever you change on the computer in Outlook syncs to the iPhone as well.

Because I inadvertently swept hundreds of unneeded entries from my Microsoft 
Outlook email account into my iPhone contact listings, I need to delete many, 
many contacts.

 

Is there a contact editor that will allow me to remove contacts from the 
contacts list screen? As far as I can determine, the only way to remove a 
contact in the native iOS is to open the  contact and move down to  the delete 
button. That’s pretty time consuming and I hope for a faster way.

 

I will appreciate any assistance.

A weird SIRI transformation.

I’ve generally stayed  out of the Siri bashing discussions but this is really 
weird.
For a long time telling Siri to "play w t o p radio" was working for me once  I 
had it in my favorites in the music app.
Today, in trying to get the latest status on the severe storms approaching DC 
it decided to play 
Squats and margarita podcast. 
I tried 4 times with slight variations and every time it went for the podcast.
 
Oh, well.

has made the option inaccessible for Voiceover users. Give them 5 Stars and 
also put this tip thing in the review if you can still add a custom message. I

Uber might fix it pretty quick.

works well with VoiceOver, at least for the forecast info. IN the 7.9 version,

It will be interesting to see what these other apps eventually produce. I use 
voice Vista often and have had very good results. I’m even thinking of getting 
Air Pods to use with them and I don’t normally prefer earbuds of any kind. I 
have a waterproof lanyard that I got from Amazon and using Voice Vista I have 
overcome a spot that I have strayed into and got lost consistently for three 
years. Now I go right past it every time. Ironically, I never tried the 
original app once when it was a Microsoft app. Before they released the open 
source into the wild.

I used to use the Modular, but ever since Apple added the Infograph I have been 
using it as it offers the most complications.
Of course you could use 2 or 3 watch faces and arrange them so that the main 
one is in the middle and you either swipe left or right to get to the other two 
which could be set up for more specific things like Health/workout or home 
automation, but I prefer to have most of what I want on one complication which 
for me includes of course the time, sunrise/sunset, battery status, heart rate, 
the workout app and a few other apps like Apple Home and the one for my store's 
alarm system.

Does anyone know the default face? I was having issues with one of the faces at 
one time and after all the playing around I did, I realized that the default 
one worked fine for what I needed. Now, I can't find it or don't remember what 
it is.

BlindSquare is supposed to do that, but some folks have found it a little 
inconsistent.

I defer to you Gennie. The last time I updated my faces I used the Watch app on 
my iPhone mostly because I’d rather work on the larger screen and not do so 
much with the watch on my wrist. Prior to that, I haven’t messed with faces in

I will slightly disagree when it comes to using my watch to edit complications. 
I find it just as easy to do on my watch as I do on my watch app on my phone. 
It is pretty easy actually, so it is just a personal preference.

I've mentioned this before, but I do what Sieghard mentions below. I use the
modular face as my default face with mostly PIM complications on it. I also
have an activity face for obvious reasons. Finally, as we were traveling
around Durango Colorado, I added an infograph face with complications
related to weather and geography. Before I settled on these three I had half
a dozen or more faces on my watch, and I'd flip between them until I settled
on the three above.

This is another thing I'd suggest doing, specifically use the Watch app on
your phone and browse the faces until you see one that looks interesting
based on the number of complications and the information it comes with. You
can also pay attention to the description of it's appearance. Once you find
one that's interesting, spend a few minutes to set it up and then play with
it for a week or so. Try another one the following week and eventually
you'll settle on exactly what you're looking for. This is what I did, and I
thought it was kind of fun playing around with the different options to see
what I liked and I didn't like. I didn't try to do it all at once though.
Obviously not everyone is going to find this "fun!"

Hi Mark,

After you have added a few songs to your love list, you can ask Siri to play 
your personal radio station, and she will begin to play music on and around 
your love list. I call it a love list, but it is probably more like a “Like” 
list. It is a little different from Amazon you are right, and I haven’t tried 
to create smart play lists on my devices, because I just use the personal radio 
station thing.

So it sounds like you want to just remove Outlook contact syncing and not 
remove the contacts.
I would give you specific instructions on doing this, but my IOS devices are 
not available at this time.
But the search functionality in the settings app can probably help.

Hi,

I will slightly disagree when it comes to using my watch to edit complications. 
I find it just as easy to do on my watch as I do on my watch app on my phone. 
It is pretty easy actually, so it is just a personal preference.

Your help is awesome.  Now, even my voice memos show up on both of my I phones 
as well as a whole lot of other stuff.

Can I merge my I phone contacts

Hi everyone,

 

I have 2 I Phones.  I would like very much to know if I can merge the
contacts so that both phones have exactly the same contact list.

 

I appreciate any suggestions.
