   Honestly,
I say this knocking on wood, but it’s longer than even the 14 Pro. Not a
considerable difference, but even with some extensive use, my battery level at
the end of the day is at least 10 to 15 percent higher than it was with the 14
Pro. I will have to pay more attention, but I can say that after a week of
using the 15 Pro.

In order to do that, you have to go into settings, accounts, select your Gmail

Phone audio with various headsets

2023-10-01 Thread Kelly Ford
Hi,

If I connect wired USB-C headphones to my iPhone, and make a phone call, the
audio for the call goes directly to the Headphones. If I connect a USB-C to 3.5
mm headphone adapter, and then headphones to that Jack, the audio will not go
to the Headphones during a call, but stays on the phone. Does anyone know why
the difference, especially since I am connecting a USB-C device to the phone in
both cases.

If it matters, both the USB-C, headphones and adapter are made by Apple and I’m
using the iPhone 15 Pro.

Kelly.

Problem sending audio message by WhatsApp

2023-10-01 Thread Rena
Hello,

I open WhatsApp, tap on audio message to respond. Something opens and gives
me some instructions, but it closes right away and I can't record any
message.

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong.

How should I answer an audio message in WhatsApp?

Re: How can I have it in English

2023-10-01 Thread Jonathan Cohn
I believe it probably is a legit email. Perhaps the email is in both English nd
French? After all, doesn’t Canada require official notices to be in both?

If the message is not bilingual then look at the communications area of the
iCloud account settings and see if there is a selector somewhere in there. Most
likely you will need a Canadian to help you figure that out though. I am pretty
sure I did not have a place to choose languages.

Re: Resetting iPhone12?

2023-10-01 Thread Anna Dresner
Hello Mohammad,

There are lots of different resets available, such as resetting network
settings (which can fix a lot of problems) and resetting the Home Screen (which
puts all your apps on home screens in alphabetical order). There’s also the
reset you do by pressing volume Up, then Volume Down, then holding the Power
button. That reset doesn’t erase any data but can fix a phone when it freezes
up and won’t do anything. If you are asking about the one that erases all
content and settings, you will need to confirm that this is what you want to do
and enter your Apple ID password. Once the reset starts, VoiceOver will stop
talking. Eventually, the phone will restart. Then You can turn on VoiceOver if
you need to by triple-clicking the side button. If you don’t want to turn on
VoiceOver, and you don’t have anyone sighted around to turn off the phone,
press Volume Up, then Volume Down, then hold the Power button for a few
seconds. The Power Off control is near the top of the screen and, as near as I
can tell, reaches across the whole thing, so I think that if you tap near the
top of the screen, the phone will power off. If you have a light probe, I would
suggest pointing it at the screen a few seconds later to make sure the phone is
off.

Good luck,
Anna
