Hi, I'm thinking about getting a Google voice phone number for my business. My question is, I know that I can sit personalize greetings for contacts, but, how do I set an outgoing message that collars or not in my contact list will receive? I want to make sure the incoming clients receive the outgoing business message. Just make sure that when you leave a voicemail for someone, or actually talk to someone, that you don't start speaking the punctuation marks in your sentences. I have caught myself doing this. LOL. Hi, I have had trouble using Lyft as all the drivers are busy every time I try to get a lift somewhere. So, I have not had personal experience using this yet. I plan to keep trying though. However, one of my students told me that they had difficulty requesting a lift. Something about not knowing which button to hit, and nothing able to see the phone number of the driver on the screen. She usesvoiceover. Again, I can't speak to this, because I have yet to use lift. Prizmo will store these scanned documents for you. There is also an app called text grabber. This is worth having to! It is totally easy to use, much more so than Prizmo. And between Prizmo and TextGrabber you will have the best solution at the moment available to the iPhone. When TextGrabber does badly you may find that Prizmo does well and, sometimes, the other way round too. I made a mistake in my previous message to you, I said that when you have done reading your recognised text that you should tap the done button you actually have to tap the close button. Hi, Has anyone tried to use this app? It appears some buttons accessible, and some are not. However, swiping left and right does nothing. Touching the screen at random points does speak some of the buttons. Hi again, When I double tap on the status, it brings up to like and comment buns so that I can like or comment what I wrote, but there is no way to double tap on the number of people who liked it. That is only read when I first read the status before I double tap on it to go into it. Where double tap on the number before going into the status, nothing happens. Maybe I should reboot the phone and see if that helps. Hello, Actually, the two finger flick up was not working. A three finger flick up bring the message up on the screen. She could then tap the middle of the screen and do a two finger flick Downford to start reading. Very strange. Thank you all for your help. Hope she can master the gestures in this will work for her. We have tried flicking down with one or two fingers. We have tried swiping left with one finger. Nothing has worked. Is it possible that her email provider is not compatible with voiceover? Need help for someone reading body of email
I am helping someone to learn how to use their iPhone, in their having difficulty reading the body of an email message. They have iOS 6, and do not wish to upgrade to IOS 7 at this time. They have an iPhone 4s or five. Whenever she taps the screen to read the message, it skips to the bottom or the top. There's no way for her to actually read the body of the email. This does not always happen. Hi, When I shake the phone to cancel Siri, nothing happens. I looked in settings to see if there was a setting to turn shake on, but did not see anything. The other problem I have with Siri, is that she will cut me off after three or four words, and then tell me try again. Or she can't send the message. There's been a problem. The Pro version which costs $29.95 also has a number of LED Lights and you can operate it either with a battery pack or by plugging it in to a wall outlet with a power supply. The top of the box has a hole and you would put your iPhone on top with the camera lense pointing straight down through the hole. The LED Lights provide optimal lighting and the way the box is constructed means the camera is at the correct distance to take a picture of a letter size piece of paper. You can get very good scan results, but I would hesitate to trust the scans with receipts because often the print quality of receipts especially if they are printed with a thermal printer is not the best. In any case, this would be as good as it gets as far as OCR with the iPhone is concerned. It would probably a lot more reliable if you use an app like list recorder and just ask for the few pieces of relevant information at the store, hotel or wherever you may be, all you need would be the receipt/invoice number, the date and amount possibly split up into the amount for the product or service and tax if that applies to your State. You could just ask the sales clerk for that information and record it. If you want to get a Standscan, you can do so at www.Standscan.com The Standscan does fold very flat and is very portable when it’s in that state, but even though you can learn to set it up relatively quickly, I would say it’s not something you want to do while you are at the counter at the store. I try to upgrade. But for some reason, now I'm stuck in the map manager. Nothing appears to be downloading. And I cannot find the except button but I think you have to push to start the downloads.
