But you can buy US iTunes gift cards from eBay etc. This may be one way around it or you could download the nook app and set up an account on the BN.com website specifying you are in the US. I tried purchasing a book via Nook by giving my cousin's address who lives in the U.S., but they cancelled the payment because I was using an Indian credit card. But your suggestion about using a US iTunes gift card is really unique; I never really thought about that option. I guess I'll have to use my cousin's Apple ID because Apple won't allow me to create an ID in the U.S. store as I don't have an American credit card. I already use his ID to download free apps and books from the U.S. store. I suppose I'll be able to purchase paid books as well if I purchase and redeem a gift card, like you suggested. I've been struggling to find a solution to this problem ever since I bought my iPhone 8 months ago. Hello Rahul, If what you're looking for is access to ebooks that you can read on your iPhone, I've found that Kobo books fit the bill perfectly. I can purchase them with my French credit card and read them on either my iPhone using the Kobo app, or on my Mac using Adobe Digital Editions. There is some disagreement about the accessibility of the Kobo app, but I posted an explanation of how to use it as a comment on the Applevis site. Basically, you have to ensure that the page transition style is set to scrolling. Hi, if you Google how to create a US iTunes account for free, you should be able to find the instructions on how to do so. I did this about two years ago and it did work for me. That way you would be able to use your US iTunes gift card on your own US account.
