RE: Can no longer effectively search in native Twitter app

2017-06-21 Thread M. Taylor
Hello Kathy,

Thank you for providing a description.

Okay, I performed your search and was able to easily find and open the
@TeamYouTube feed by doing the following:

1.
>From within the native Twitter app, select the Search and Explore Tab located
>on the bottom row of the display.

2.
In the Search Edit Field, type in Youtube Help and activate the search button
located near the lower right corner of the display. A results page will
appear. Near the top of the results list is a row of default filter buttons
from which you may refine your search. From right to left the buttons are:
Top, Latest, People, Photos, Videos, News, and Parascope.

3.
Select the People filter. Doing this will filter the results list,
accordingly, near the top of which you will find @TeamYoutube. As you swipe
across this area, you will find a button that will allow you to either follow
or unfollow @TeamYoutube or, should you wish, you may simply single-finger,
double-tap on the @TeamYoutube label in order to be taken directly to the feed
from which, among other things, you may compose a Tweet.

I hope this helps.

Mark

I type, for example, YouTube help (with a space between the words) and double
tap search in the bottom right-hand corner. @TeamYouTube is the third entry in
search results. When I double tap on it, nothing happens. I should be able to
get the tweets better under that, and be able to compose a tweet to them. If I
don't double tap search in the bottom right-hand corner, there are completely
different results under my search term YouTube help, which do not include at
team YouTube. If I double tap on any of those results, it works. I have
uninstalled and reinstalled native Twitter app, did not fix the problem.

Hello Kathy,

I just performed several searches via the native Twitter app and all appears to
work as expected.

So, perhaps you could provide a step-by-step description of exactly what you
are doing so that we can attempt to reproduce your issue. Be certain to
include the search term/terms you use, also.

Mark
