Need help with iPad mini 4 weather widget
Hi I have an iPad mini 4 running iOS 15 and I am trying to figure out how I can change the location of my weather widget or if there is even a way as I have my location services set to precise location yet the weather app shows something else. -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list. Re: Please, I need help with Ipad Mini
It sounds like your friend needs to ask Apple to replace the unit. It is too new to be looking for work arounds. At least, that is what I would do. Please, I need help with Ipad Mini
Hello list, I am asking for help on behalf of my friend which is not on this list. She purchased Ipad 4 mini a few weeks ago and everything seemed to be working fine until last night. When she wants to use Ipad on battery, it does not turn on. As soon as she plugs it to the power, Ipad turns on without any issues and even battery is fully charged. When she turns Ipad off, unplug it and it is runing on the battery, AND SHE TURNS IT OFF, it does not turn BACK on although battery is fully charged. All the same happens when she tries to do reset by holding down home and power button. When on the battery, it does not work, but HAVING plugged it to the power, it works absolutely fine. Please, does anyone know any workaround or any suggestions? Thank you for your help in advance. With kind regards MARIA -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list. Need Help Updating IPad Mini
Yesterday I received a notification to update my iPad Mini. It indicated that it needed to be pluged in, and I didn't have the cable handy, so I dismissed the message. I thought I'd update today, but can't figure out where to find the update. I was thinking I had seen something in settings, but can't seem to find it. On the iPhone, it is settings, general, software update. I suspect it is in a similar location on the iPad. Re: Need Help Updating IPad Mini
Found it. Thanks. It must have updated on its own, when I pluged it in. When I found the software update button, I got a message saying it was up to date. Time should correct itself through location services when it's done setting up. Mine did. Mine did eventually when I did turn location services on. Re: Help with iPad Mini
Hi stacy. This is an easy fix. Go into settings then general. Under general go into date and time. There's a button there that says set automatically and it's probably on, so toggle that to off. Now go down to time zone and set it to New Yourk which is the only East coast listing available. After you have done that, you can now set the adjust automatically toggle back to on and you should be good to go. You don't have to redo your Mini setup. Re: Help with iPad Mini
Stacy, So sorry, you are on central time so in my previous message, I should have said to set the time zone to something that reflects central time.
