Re: Question concerning NFL Audio Pass

2014-08-20 Thread Brian Fischler
Cheryl,

I didn't mention the name as I looked awhile back when this thread first
started and couldn't seem to find the app in the app store so I believe it may
have been removed but it still works, it is called Pro football radio, yes,
generic and a search will pull up a ton of apps, but not the one I have. My
wifi connection is fine but I still notice major delays when listening to games
on this app as well as on MLB At Bat. Additionally I am in NYC so not in the
middle of nowhere where wifi might be slow, not sure why I always have such a
delay and this has been the case on my 3GS, 4S, and now the 5S. Thanks for the
info.

There is a delay but there shouldn't be that much of a delay unless something
is slow in your area or with your network. Usually with MLB I get the
notification of the play at the same time it happens or not more than 30
seconds before. But maybe there are a lot of variables that determine this.

I don't have a straightforward way to get there. I have the same

However, once you are playing the broadcast, if you move around the screen,
there should be a source button. I think it says, source: home. You can
double tap that and choose away. Hope this helps.

Subject: Question concerning NFL Audio Pass

Hi listers,

When using NFL Audio Pass on an IOS device, is there an easy way to get to
it and the broadcast you are wanting to listen to? Sometimes I find it
with no trouble, and then there are other times... ... ...

And do you have to listen to the home team broadcast, or is there a way to
choose what you want to listen to? I'm a little tired of it kicking my
backside so thought I'd ask for assistance. Smile. TIA...and have a great
week!

You don't mention the name of the app you are using.

There is a delay but there shouldn't be that much of a delay unless something
is slow in your area or with your network. Usually with MLB I get the
notification of the play at the same time it happens or not more than 30
seconds before. But maybe there are a lot of variables that determine this.

  Hey guys,

Curious if anyone knows? I have an app I bought years ago that I am not sure
if it is available in the app store anymore, but it still seems to get all the
games. The only thing really annoying about the app is the delay between the
feed and real time as it seems like it is a few minutes, and since I receive
several push notifications I have to turn off VO when listening to a game or I
get the push notification about a scoring play before it happens to the audio
feed I am listening to. Has anyone compared the NFL audio pass feeds to the
T.V. and is there a delay? I assume there is as MLB At Bat which I subscribe to
also has a significant delay, it must just be streaming audio has a delay. Was
curious about this? Thanks,

You have to tap on schedule. That brings up a list of the games being
played. they will show the game and the home team or the visitor. you can
listen to either side of the ball. I went back and listened to a bears game
but from the other side of the ball. Very strange. When the bears scored a

Re: Question concerning NFL Audio Pass

2014-08-18 Thread Alan Paganelli
If you buy a subscription to NFL Audiopass, you then can listen to the games
depending on the package you buy. I bought the season plus so I can listen
to all the preseason, regular season, playoffs and super bowl. It cost me
40 bucks. Through the NFL app and with audiopass I can listen to the games
but only online can I go back and listen to any games played sense I think
2011. I'm sure if I'm wrong somebody will correct me. I've only had it 2
weeks. But I hope this helps anyway.

Thanks, Nicki. When I clicked on source last night and it said home, there
didn't seem to be an option to change. It didn't really matter to me, but
the day will come when I will want the Rams broadcast when they are away and
I am also away from my computer and will need NFL Mobile.

Ann,

I don't have a straightforward way to get there. I have the same
difficulty.

However, once you are playing the broadcast, if you move around the screen,
there should be a source button. I think it says, source: home. You can
double tap that and choose away. Hope this helps.

Hi listers,

When using NFL Audio Pass on an IOS device, is there an easy way to get to

And do you have to listen to the home team broadcast, or is there a way to

2014-08-18 Thread SoonerAnnie
Is anyone listening to the game tonight on NFL Mobile? I attempted to listen to
the Browns but the Redskins is the only one that seems to be available. What
happened before is still happening...can only seem to locate the home
broadcast, not the away one. When I click on source, there doesn't seem to be
the away choice...and I've moved everywhere on the screen. SMH! Sorry for the

Re: NFL Audio Pass

2014-01-06 Thread Cheryl Homiak
Actually, this isn't quite accurate. There was a regular season subscription
this year but from the beginning there was also a season plus subscription
which gave coverage clear through postseason. This is the subscription I chose
and so I was able to listen to all the playoff games this weekend, though I did
so on my computer and not on my i-devices.

I tried and tried to turn over a new leaf.
I got crumpled wads of tear-stained paper
thrown in the trash!
Then God gave me a new heart and life:
His joy for my despairing tears!
And now, every day:
This I call to mind,
and therefore I have hope:
The steadfast love of the Lord
never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.

Andy, I am sorry, but TV coverage of NFL games stinks by and large.
Yes, you understand how the ball is progressing down the field, but in
most cases, radio coverage is far superior because it provides more

2014-01-05 Thread Alan Paganelli
Yes but the TV in general sucks on descriptions. In general you hear the crowd
go nuts and the broadcaster says complete and the color guy says man that was a
fantastic catch and so and so made a really great tackle. Your sitting there
wondering why can't they just tell you what goes on on the screen. I know some
don't want to hear all that talk so then turn the sound off or down. I hate
watching NFL football on the TV.

I use to be able to listen to the Chicago Bears games online but this year they
only broadcasted half the season. The other half, you could listen to the
pre-game stuff and when about the time it came to the national anthem they cut
it off. I guess next year's season I'll have to pay for it. I don't mind
paying for it but I want the WBBM Radio guys feed because that's the home
station broadcast. Now my question is, these NFL football apps, are there any
which will give me what I want? Or do I have to move back to Chicago?

RE: NFL Audio Pass

2014-01-05 Thread Cristóbal
The Pro radio app has always worked well for me. I’ve always been able to
get the local radio feed as an option for my particular team (raiders). I
can also access the feed online at CompassMediaNetworks.com if I want to
listen to the game on my laptop. I have no idea if the Bears are part of
Compass media networks, but you can check it out if you’d like. There’s even
a listen live link for iPhone and iPad users if you want to access the games
through Safari.

What I haven’t been able to ever get are the national radio broadcasts
online like CBS Radio or Westwood1 for example.

I use to be able to listen to the Chicago Bears games online but this year
they only broadcasted half the season. The other half, you could listen to
the pre-game stuff and when about the time it came to the national anthem
they cut it off. I guess next year's season I'll have to pay for it. I
don't mind paying for it but I want the WBBM Radio guys feed because that's
the home station broadcast. Now my question is, these NFL football apps, are
there any which will give me what I want? Or do I have to move back to
Chicago?

Re: NFL Audio Pass

2014-01-04 Thread Cheryl Homiak
You would have needed the season Plus subscription or you would have to pay for
postseason now.

As for me, I've never managed to get audiopass to work in nfl mobile though it
works fine on my Mac. I only seem to be able to get the National radio feed
when I tap audio. I figured I must be doing something wrong and just wnet and
used my MBA instead.

I tried and tried to turn over a new leaf.
I got crumpled wads of tear-stained paper
thrown in the trash!
Then God gave me a new heart and life:
His joy for my despairing tears!
And now, every day:
This I call to mind,
and therefore I have hope:
The steadfast love of the Lord
never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.

you could do that but I can't seem to figure out how to get to that. Any help

I don't think you can do it from NFL Mobile, but you can definitely do
it from the web site with a PC. After you log on and go to schedule, you
just the select the week you want and then the home or away feed for the
game you want to listen to. I do it all the time when I've got something
going on on Sunday and can't catch a game I'm interested in.

RE: Question about NFL audio pass

Hi Brent.

The NFL app doesn't let you listen to archived games. You can, however,
listen to archived games with your computer by going to

http://audiopass.nfl.com

log in, and you can listen to archived games for several years back.

It would be nice if the mobile app let you hear archived games, but it
doesn't

Have a good day, and don't work too hard.

I'm not sure. You only get the listen live button during a game. It's in the

I'm not sure. You only get the listen live button during a game. It's in

2013-09-10 Thread Arnold Schmidt
I was able to listen to my chosen team, the Redskins, but I couldn't figure out
how to change to the Texans/Chargers feed. There was nothing in the game
center about that game that I could find, it just had the Redskins link. I
surely am glad I have Audio Pass on my computer. Yes, I was signed into Audio

Thanks. I had read that message you were referring to but since Jared
mentioned Verizon I mistakenly thought that it only worked with Verizon. The
instructions did help, though, so probably won't need further assistance,
but will definitely let you know if I do. Thanks. Smile.

Well, don't hesitate to ask if you need help getting it to work. Jared

No this is not correct. As I and others have been talking about on list,
Audio Pass through the NFL Mobile app is available to anyone on any
carrier. As I said in a previous message, I'm on ATT, I have an Audio
Pass subscription and I pulled up several feeds today.

Just as a heads up for Canadian subscribers, these features do not appear to
work for us. The update we got yesterday was for a new NFL Canada app which
requires a bell phone subscription to access audio or video feeds of games. No

Subject: It is now possible to listen to games through NFL audio pass using
the NFL mobile app.

It is now possible to listen to NFL audio pass through the NFL mobile app on
the iphone. I just got this update in the last hour so it may be worth
checking for updates. Unfortunately it does not appear that you can select
weather the audio is home or away. Below are instructions on how I got it to
work. The app description says this works for Verizon subscribers so I
assume the following instructions will work if you’re not an audio pass
subscriber but are a Verizon customer.

First go to menu, settings, and sign out. Then sign back in with your audio
pass account. I had to do this since without signing out it prompted me to
buy a subscription.

Second select menu then team. Select the team you want to listen to the game
of.

Third select game center, it should be at the top of your screen.

Fourth select listen with audio pass; it is at the bottom of the screen. It
requires a lot of swiping to get to it so I tap at the bottom of the screen
and swipe left until I get to it.

If anyone has any questions about this let me know.

2013-09-08 Thread Christopher Chaltain
No this is not correct. As I and others have been talking about on list,
Audio Pass through the NFL Mobile app is available to anyone on any
carrier. As I said in a previous message, I'm on ATT, I have an Audio
Pass subscription and I pulled up several feeds today.

2013-09-08 Thread Christopher Chaltain
I think the other thread might have hijacked a different thread, so it
isn't surprising if someone missed it.

Well, don't hesitate to ask if you need help getting it to work. Jared
also provides some instructions below in this thread.
