Play A Folder Of Music Using The Phone Drive App
I download music to my iPhone using the Phone Drive app. I have a separate folder in Phone Drive for each album. The only thing I have not figured out is how to play an entire folder of music in Phone Drive. I have tried double-tapping some unlabeled buttons while a song is playing, but they don't do what I want. Does anyone else use Phone Drive who has figured out how to play a folder of music? phone drive not advancing to next file

Phone Drive Add Network Place
I'm currently running the latest version of Phone Drive on my iPhone 4S and on my home computer I'm running XP. From the computer I can connect to Phone Drive using Internet Explorer, but when I connect through My Network places none of the folders in Phone drive appear on my computer. I have shared with other computers on my WiFi, so I'm wondering if it is something in my phone that isn't set properly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. I might try ubidisk as a temporary fix, but I have files in phone drive that I'd like to keep. I'll figure out how to get to them someday hopefully. I am trying to copy a group of files that I placed in a folder on our PC to our iPad, original model. PhoneDrive is installed and running on the iPad and I have iTunes open on our PC. I cannot figure out how to highlight the Phone Drive app , nor can I figure out how to add files to bring them over to the iPad from the PC. If anyone can assist, please let me know. Thanks. I did some file management and copied all the useful stuff off Dropbox into the root or a subfolder on the local device; they work perfectly from there. Dropbox is good for sharing between devices, but local copies are that, so work straight away. Phone Drive
Ok, tried it, took a bit to get it to do anything with Dropbox, but got there eventually. For whatever reason, it don't like opening the big collection of text files I have; they don't appear in the edit field, maybe a good thing. i have to use the menu, open in, and iLike2Read, and then select a text encoding. These are old, no idea, plain old text is all I know. The help is there, but just enough to get stuffi n and out so far. All tips from the more successful would be welcome. Hi Rob, I haven't used phone drive, but no other app apart from ILike2Read reads text files properly with Vo. Most of the apps like PhoneDrive do a good job of word docs and html docs though. Well, I went to purchase this app, and at least for now, it appears to be 75% off at $0.99. When searching, the first hit was Phone Drive and then the second hit was Phone Drive Free, don't know the difference as I purchased what I believe to be the full version. Phone Drive
Hi folks, I have been checking through the latest emails and quite a few people want to download all kinds of things to their iPhones. How about checking out Phone Drive which lets you transfer things including music if you like to your device. I have made a podcast on this, again for another magazine but it may help someone. It also gives you the facility to download and unzip from the Internet. Search for Phone Drive on the App Store and it will show up.
