Re: Audio description on Hulu through Apple TV app on the iPad

2023-12-20 Thread Mary Otten
As it happens, when I looked this film that I was interested up on the big
master list that ACB provides, Hulu doesn’t have audio description, a perfect
illustration of your point, Chris. So I can pay for it on Amazon or watch it
for free well almost free, on Hulu without a D. How nice. How absurd!

Have you looked into this.  On their they have a comment of being
combined in early 2024.  The admin of the adp web site that keeps the
show listings up weekly sent an email out that it would be March before
anything was known to the members of that service. Where did you get
your information that it would be late 2024 by the way?

Hulu is loosing their servicers to another stream as you will see if you
would do a little research.  Hulu is being combined with Disney Plus as
I tried to let you know in another message yesterday.  You are lucky to
receive the audio description in any stream from the internet until our
laws are changed.

Re: Audio description on Hulu through Apple TV app on the iPad

2023-12-19 Thread David Grossoehme
As of December 7th all Hulu was placed on Disney Plus.  If in question
then call Disney and see if they can help you.  However, you will
receive more information from other blind tv users from the
adp-l...@acblists.org.  Hulu will be combined with Disney Plus
Streaming, as of earlier today, one other blind member of that list
emailed, that it will be probably March before a lot of action is taken
from them.  Hulu will not exist, beings they are part of Disney and are
being combined into the Disney Plus Streaming Service.

Re: Audio description on Hulu through Apple TV app on the iPad

2023-12-19 Thread David Grossoehme
This is being discussed on another list of blind people.  You can
subscribe to the list by sending a message to
adp-list+subscr...@acblists.org, which is a low traffic list. This list
consist of many blind users and audio description who watch tv by phone,
tv or computer.  There are many of us that can help.  However, Disney
Plus is combining Hulu Streaming with Disney Plus Streaming.  It maybe
March before people who have subscriptions with them, to know what is
going to happen.  This list has a web link you can go to to see all
described audio shows on tv, and which network they are on with Audio
Description.  Good luck.
