I've got loads of bluetooth speakers and headsets. It would be
interesting to need to do this with each headset or speaker.

Apparently, Logitech doesn't offer this.
I have the Logitech H800 headset and there isn't an app, or a widget for them
that I can find.
At least my inexpensive Plantronics e50 shows up now.

Re: Checking Bluetooth Battery Accessory Level with iPhone 8 and 13.4.1?

2020-05-18 Thread Mike B.
Hi Joshua,

On my SE 2020 phone , the status bar only reports, bluetooth headphones
connected, and doesn't give the battery status like it did on my old SE
iPhone running the same iOS 13.4.1. I don't know if the status bar can be
added to or not, but I find it kind of weird this particular icon is missing
with the same iOS version running on both phones. I guess this can be
chalked up to technology! LOL

Take care. Mike. Sent from my iBarstool.

I need to check both my bluetooth battery status as well as my iPhone

RE: Checking Bluetooth Battery Accessory Level with iPhone 8 and 13.4.1?

2020-05-18 Thread Debbie Downey
Hi,

I've found that if I have my Apple Airpods paired and I'm using them; I can
just ask Siri what my battery level is and she will tell me both for the phone
and the Airpods. I don't know if that will work for other devices.

In iOS 13, only your iPhone battery is shown on the status bar.
Some Bluetooth devices apparently will show up if you ad the batteries to the
Today screen, but none of my Bluetooth devices show up there either.
That was a very nice feature in iOS 12 that showed it on the status bar along
with the phone battery.
O well.

Can't you just check on your status bar? I always just check that if I need to
check both my bluetooth battery status as well as my iPhone battery.

OK, So I can be a bit slow.
I am sure I had checked this before, and my Plantronics E50 did not show up on
the today screen, but now today, it does.
Very nice.
Now I will try other Bluetooth devices and see if they show up too.

Thanks,

Hi Barbara

You might have to add your bluetooth headset widget. Try this:
1. Make sure your bluetooth is connected.
2. Go to page 1 and swipe to the edit button, single finger double tap to open.
3. Swipe to, Add Batteries, and double tap to select, and now the batteries
should show up along with your iPhone in this view.

I found a batteries heading on page one, but the only battery listed was my

Re: Checking Bluetooth Battery Accessory Level with iPhone 8 and 13.4.1?

2020-05-16 Thread Mike B.
Hi Dani,

This is how I now check my bluetooth headset battery level with the new SE
2020.
1. On my Home screen right above the dock Voiceover reports page 2 of 2
adjustable, I swipe down to go to page 1.
2. Right here I have both my iPhone and bluetooth headset battery levels if
I swipe right.
HTH
Take care. Mike. Sent from my iBarstool.
*My body has absorbed so much soap and disinfectant lately that when I pee
it cleans the toilet.

Hi, Everyone.
I remember being able to ask Siri about the battery percentage for my
Bluetooth headset when I'd use it with previous Os's. She would
announce both the iPhone battery level and the Bluetooth battery
percentage. It isn't happening anymore with the latest update. How are
you guyss tracking your Bluetooth battery levels?

Thanks,
Dani

As near as I can tell, that feature went out with iOS 13.
