Hi Anthony, I think a combination of things was happening. I hadn't realized that I would be able to get list messages in my inbox before having my status approved by the moderators, and then I was even further confused when my own messages weren't coming through, thinking that I was already an established list member! LOL! I hope that makes sense to somebody besides just me! LOL! Anyway, things seem to be working well now with the list, and I'm very glad to be here! Hi Ari, Thank you so much! I will check this App out for sure! When I wasn't sure that my messages were getting through to the list, I continued to do some of my own research, and ultimately, for the moment at least, I have been using Dropbox with Plain text. It works fine as long as text files are all I need to work with. It's definitely a different way of handling things, but I'm sure I'll get used to it after some more time! :) Desi On Jul 28, 2013, at 9:10 PM, Arianna englishride...@gmail.com wrote: I understand how you feel. For several years, I owned a BrailleNote, and having the ability to just whip out your note-taker, turn it on, and quickly jot something down was really great. As to your file-storage questions: I use an appp called Notesy to take notes. I can't remember how much it costs, but it's not too expensive--probably only a few bucks. The app has some accessibility quirks, though I think they have more to do with VoiceOver rather than with the app itself. You can work with files off-line, and they can be synced to Dropbox if you use that. I do, and it's super easy to set up and then forget about. :D Having your notes synced with Dropbox means that you always have things backed up; you can also work with notes from your computer if using this setup. I hope this helps you. Re: Introduction And File Storage Questionn
Hi Desi, There are various apps you can sync in DropBox having your stored files available everywhere and everytime, even out of wireless connection, but with a 3G active. I have used almost successfully AccessNote, Write2, PlainText and some others, you can easily find in the AppleStore. These apps create their own folder inside the DropBox folder where they store the files. Take into consideration they only manage txt format files, unfortunately... They can also operate offline, syncing the new files when the phone gets its connection wireless or 3G again. Each of them isn't fully accessible; at any rate, all of them could be managed almost efficiently using VoiceOver and a little patience. Warmly, Mario. Re: Introduction And File Storage Questionn
I see my own posts, and I'm using a Gmail account. I'm not sure if having a filter/label combination for emails from this list has anything to do with that, but I'm using that setup, as well. Thanks, Ari On Jul 29, 2013, at 5:25 PM, Christopher Chaltain chalt...@gmail.com wrote: This is only true if you're using a Gmail account. If so, have you found a way to store folders and files so that you can have access to them no matter where you are, and whether or not you have a wireless connection? Re: Introduction And File Storage Questionn
I understand how you feel.
