RE: Replacement for Plantronics voyager edge?
My Edge is at least three years old now and working great. In fact I ran it through the washer and dryer twice so far. RE: Replacement for Plantronics voyager edge?
The actual successor to the Voyager Edge is the Plantronics 3200. It has the same design, but I think one microphone upgrade. When my Edge was dying, I was considering getting this or the Plantronics 5200 which is the successor to the Legend. I ended up going for the 5200. It'll be 2 years that I've had the 5200 and all in all, I've been quite happy with it. Cristóbal -Original Message- From: viphone@googlegroups.com On Behalf Of M. RE: Replacement for Plantronics voyager edge?
Hello Julian, I, too, am a huge fan of the Plantronics Voyager Edge. I was in a Best Buy store, yesterday and believe that I saw the Edge being sold. However, as I wasn't paying close attention, I can not be certain. I suggest that you purchase your next Edge from Amazon. This is what I plan to do when my beloved Edge nears its end. Hello listers, My Plantronics voyager edge is in need of replacement because its battery is no longer holding a full charge. This has been one of my all-time favorite Bluetooth earpieces so I'm looking for a replacement. Has Plantronics come up with a newer model or is the voyager edge still the latest version of that headset? Thank you in advance for any assistance. Re: Replacement for Plantronics voyager edge?
I've never seen the Edge, so I'm not sure. It is pretty small. Sound quality is very good, and people say they hear me very clearly, so it has a good microphone. I like it too because the hook that goes over your ear can be swung around so you can wear it on either ear. I used to have the m55, and its hook had to be pulled off, then snapped back on for the other ear. This one is hinged so it is quite easy. It isn't any longer than my thumb and weighs next to nothing. If you get it from Amazon, and you don't like it, you can return it quite easily. HTH, Richard Always look out for #1, and be careful not to step in #2. On Sep 29, 2019, at 6:49 AM, Marie wrote: Is this device as small as the Edge. Re: Replacement for Plantronics voyager edge?
The last time i checked, the Voyager 5200 was the latest, but i believe that the legend and Edge are still available. But the one I have really come to enjoy are the Plantronics Back Beat Fit 3100. They are stereo buds but you can wear only one if you wish. Also note that PlanPlantronics was bought out by Polycom, but I think they are still using the Plantronics name.
