RE: can wireless charging help with iphone 6
Metal can cause a short and it is always better to use non conductive materials. There are definitely times when a sighted person is better able to do something and that is not putting down what a blind person can do. But sighted people can, well, I guess "see" so they can much more easily clean out a tiny port like this because they can see exactly where any lint or dirt may have accumulated. Anyways, I would strill blow it out with a can of compressed air, I'm sure if you stop by at any electronics store and ask if somebody could maybe take a look and blow a blast of compressed air into that port they'll do iut. RE: can wireless charging help with iphone 6
Tara, a hair dryer definitely won't work for that, it does not nearly put out the sort of concentrated stream of high-pressure air you would need. If a bunch of lint has packed down into the Lightning port even air might not do it. I had this happening with my headphone jack on my 6S and it took an Apple Genious several minutes to clean it out properly. The Lightning port is easier because it's larger, but don't use metal if you try it yourself, use a wooden tooth pick, probably best if you let a sighted person take a look, though. -Original Message- From: viphone@googlegroups.com [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Tara Prakash Sent: Thursday, September 21, 2017 8:00 AM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: Re: can wireless charging help with iphone 6 Thanks Lois.
