There isn't but you are not really doing All Items.
double tap on the filter at the top, then flick right to filter by item, and
pick your next folder.

Well, double tap on the filter, then flick right until you get to By
Folder, and double tap. Note, after doing this once, when you get to by folder,
you will hear the name of the last folder you visited.
After double tapping there, you will have a list of all your folders.

  Hi Vicki,
Just to add to Richard's helpful instructions: In any list of files,
including the "no folder", you should find an Edit button near the top, just
after the folder name. Double tap this button and you can then select any files
in the list by double tapping them. You will hear the word "selected" for each
item, so you can easily check to make sure you have chosen the correct files.
At the bottom of the screen you should find options such as Move To
Folder, Delete and, I think, Add to Reading List. Double tap "Move to Folder"
and you can then just double tap on your desired destination folder. Repeat the
process until your "no folder" list is empty.
I hope this is comprehensible and good luck! I am having a weird
Voice Dream problem myself, but will post about it later in a separate thread.
  Best,
  Nicky

The No Folder, is not really a folder. In fact, none of them are
folders in the traditional sense.
  They are organizing labels.
All items, will show you everything you have in Voice Dream.
The folders you create, just simplify the organization.
The No folder is just a way to show you if there are files you
have not yet organized, and trust me, you would not want to delete it.
If you happened to have All Items selected when you downloaded a
new book, it wouldn't go into a folder, and unless you wanted to sort through
every file to find it and put it in a folder, you could use No Folder to find
it immediately.

Are you saying that you have some that are not in the folder you want them in?
I have never tried to do more than one book at a time, but you want to select
the sort by folder, then the one that says No Folder.
That shows you the books you have not put in a folder yet, then you can move
them to the folder you want.
As for selecting more than one at a time, I'd write
supp...@voicedream.com<mailto:supp...@voicedream.com> and ask about that.

Re: transfering items from all items to folders in Dream Reader

2020-04-27 Thread Nicola Sanders
Hi Vicki,
Just to add to Richard's helpful instructions: In any list of files, including
the "no folder", you should find an Edit button near the top, just after the
folder name. Double tap this button and you can then select any files in the
list by double tapping them. You will hear the word "selected" for each item,
so you can easily check to make sure you have chosen the correct files.
At the bottom of the screen you should find options such as Move To Folder,
Delete and, I think, Add to Reading List. Double tap "Move to Folder" and you
can then just double tap on your desired destination folder. Repeat the process
until your "no folder" list is empty.
I hope this is comprehensible and good luck! I am having a weird Voice Dream
problem myself, but will post about it later in a separate thread.
Best,
Nicky

It will be easier because if you open the folder you want a book in before
downloading it, the book will be in that folder, so no more moving files;
unless like me you forget to open the folder first,.

The No Folder, is not really a folder. In fact, none of them are folders in the
traditional sense.
They are organizing labels.
All items, will show you everything you have in Voice Dream.
The folders you create, just simplify the organization.
The No folder is just a way to show you if there are files you have not yet
organized, and trust me, you would not want to delete it.
If you happened to have All Items selected when you downloaded a new book, it
wouldn't go into a folder, and unless you wanted to sort through every file to

Re: transfering items from all items to folders in Dream Reader

2020-04-27 Thread Richard Turner
Are you saying that you have some that are not in the folder you want them in?
I have never tried to do more than one book at a time, but you want to select
the sort by folder, then the one that says No Folder.
That shows you the books you have not put in a folder yet, then you can move
them to the folder you want.
As for selecting more than one at a time, I'd write supp...@voicedream.com and
ask about that.

Hi,

I have created my folders in Dream reader, but now I can't transfer my files
from the all items to the individual folders. How can I select several at a
time from the long list and move them to the correct folders?

Thanks.

Vicki
