RE: Apps question

2018-08-29 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
I think I just recently saw a Podcast on Pages but I can't remember if it was
on Applevis or Cool Blind Tech, if you check both you'll find it, though.
The other question is whether you need them, do you really need a spreadsheet
or presentation app on the iPhone? Especially the spreadsheet is very clunky
and inefficient to use, you would be much better off with Excel on a computer
if you own a computer that is.

I feel like I may be asking a damn question. Where would a person go to learn
how to use Numbers Keynote and Pages. These apps have been on my phone for a
long time. I have just not been able to understand how to use them.

Re: Apps Question.

2013-02-05 Thread Alan Paganelli
a last ditch effort is erase all content and settings found in settings,
general, reset. This will do exactly what it says it will do. Every setting
you put in will be reset to the factory defaults so you will have to turn voice
over on again etc. If you have your apps backed up via iTunes etc, you can get
your contacts, calendar, music etc back on your phone again assuming you've
backed them up to your computer or iCloud.

When I was having a problem with my iPhone 4 it wouldn't sync my ring tones. I
had added a bunch of free ones somebody gave me and I decided most of them were
stupid. I did keep a few. I deleted the ones I didn't want from iTunes in the
my music folder on my computer but they wouldn't delete from my phone. When I
did a sync of my iPhone it would say it was syncing but it didn't happen.
Finally the only I could get rid of it was the way I described above.

In the end, I got everything back but talk about nervice. It was a real nail
bitter but it did work.

Hi anita,

Updating one app at a time sometimes works better. If you have lots of apps
it slows down the phone and if the signal to your wifi is
interrupted/blocked momentarally, that can cose the updates to stall.

Also if you update your phone, it is much better to do it on wifi.

Hope this helps.
