Has anyone figured out how to switch from the video to the radio feed? They're the same radio broadcasts anyone in the local market would hear, whether they're blind or sighted. I personally plan on letting the NFL know that I'd rather pay for an audio only option, like we had with AudioPass, and I may be passing on the video package. Maybe if the NFL gets enough such feedback, they'll include an audio only option in the streaming package. If you're saying that the audio you get during a game is an afterthought then I'd disagree. They broadcasted an NFL game with no audio a few years ago, and it was a total flop. People, including sighted people, like the real time analysis of the game that you get during a TV broadcast. For me, I don't find the radio announcers so good or the TV announcers so bad that listening to a game on TV is a waste of my time as compared to a radio broadcast. I can usually follow a game just fine on TV, and I'll often listen to a nationally televised game of my favorite team when it's shown in my area over the homers on the radio broadcast. The games you can watch on-demand are the TV broadcasts, not the radio broadcasts for audio. You can watch the game without commercials when you pull up a game that has already been played in the past. With live games, you'd obviously hear the commercials or some space filling music or announcements. The issue with streaming the commercials is that the contracts and pay for the people in the commercials assumed it was for a local radio station and not being heard nationally. If you mean including radio broadcasts in the same package as the video broadcasts, instead of splitting them out separately, then although I'd like to see this happen myself, I suspect it wasn't so much an afterthought as instead a way of consolidating the delivery mechanism into one implementation. I personally plan on letting the NFL know that I'd rather pay for an audio only option, like we had with AudioPass, and I may be passing on the video package. Maybe if the NFL gets enough such feedback, they'll include an audio only option in the streaming package. If you're saying that the audio you get during a game is an afterthought then I'd disagree. They broadcasted an NFL game with no audio a few years ago, and it was a total flop. People, including sighted people, like the real time analysis of the game that you get during a TV broadcast. For me, I don't find the radio announcers so good or the TV announcers so bad that listening to a game on TV is a waste of my time as compared to a radio broadcast. I can usually follow a game just fine on TV, and I'll often listen to a nationally televised game of my favorite team when it's shown in my area over the homers on the radio broadcast. Back several years ago my late husband and his mother were watching a baseball game on opposite sides of town, on the phone discussing the plays, we had Cox cable, not sure what she had but it was not COX at that time. She could hear the bat hit through our phone before she could see the play, I think there was about a minute delay between the two on the same station, same game. They were laughing about it because Tom would make comments before she could see the action. She was not well, and they often visited during sporting events they both enjoyed but the delay was usually a matter of seconds 3 or 4, not a full minute. The no commercials thing only applies to the TV portion, where you can watch the games on-demand. I think people are getting that confused. GamePass allows you to either listen to live audio feeds of every game including playoffs and the Super Bowl, or you can watch them on-demand with the TV broadcasts with no commercials, and DVR functionality. I feel the same about most other sports on TV - Hockey, Basketball, etc. I'll always be a big fan of baseball on the radio. The only issue I have with Sirius is the five-minute delay from the live action. I like to watch football with family members, and, if I'm lucky enough to find a broadcast on a station in OOTunes, I can actually sync it with the TV and be able to appreciate what is going on as much as my family can. But with radium, that is not an issue. In addition, the serious XM app has been improved. At least that's what they claim. So I wonder if the streaming time is improved as well. When I tried the SiriusXm app a few days ago, the streaming time might have improved slightly. It did start playing almost instantly after I selected a channel, but it was about ninety seconds or more behind the on-air music. Radium does seem to be a bit more on-time, and it seems to stay on without doing a tap to keep listening thing as often which is nice when I'm footballing. Hi, GamePass is available through the NFL mobile app, or it’s supposed to be coming soon. The site says, “Coming soon to smartphones, tablets, and connected tv devices.” I’m subscribed to gamePass, and a word of warning, if anyone wants to subscribe, be aware that the service does *not* work with Safari on OS X at this time. I’m not sure if it’s something they’re working on, but I was to use Windows to access it yesterday. I am surprised as I read this thread that thus far no one has mentioned that Sirius carries both home and away feeds of all NFL games. I use Radium; and, for example, I dictate Raders which brings me to the home feed of the currently playing Raders game. I got what I consider a good deal on Sirius, something like $54.00 U.S. for both the over the air and the internet channels for six months. I think it’s dumb they merged audio pass into game pass, but I suppose if you care about the NFL on your apple TV like I do, then it’s a win win. I don’t like how the NFL app kept crashing last night when I tapped on a team name during the game. A possible alternative to NFL mobile is also http://www.wyziwig.tv it streams all NFL games in video with audio. It's overseas but I used it last year and it works great. Listening to football on the TV is a waste of time. You hear the croud cheer and the announcer says would you look at that! He's up to the 27 yard line. That was one heck of a run. You don't hear thing one about how the team lines up etc. For me, watching NFL football on TV is useless. It is true that I don't get nearly the detail from the tv audio that I would from the radio broadcast, but most of the time, if that is all I have, I can follow football and baseball, well enough to make it worth my time, . I would think that the Game Pass would cost at least as much as the streaming online package for Sunday Ticket that DirecTV would offer if you are unable to have a dish at your place. I don't know why the NFL would undercut their partner and give more. Yes Radium works for football on SiriusXm as long as you have the proper SiriusXm package with on-line streaming. Actually,last season I had the full audiopass. I could listen to any team as well as choose which feed I wanted either from the home team or from the visitors broadcast. Of course when my bears werre playing, I listened to the bears broadcast team but it was fun to listen to the home or away teams. I had the full package which let me listen starting with preseason through the super bowl and I didn't think 40 bucks was bad. So I took it and call them up just prior to expiration and tell them I want to continue but only at the same price, take it or leave it. Thus far, they take it. My luck may run out, but I hope not. I should mention that they have tacked on four or five dollars worth of music royalty fees, but it still is far better than the retail price. Oh, Audio Pass is not gone. It has been rolled into what they are calling game pass. I called the NFL technical support line on Friday night, when I couldn't get jaws or NVDA to click the submit buttons to log me into my old audio pass subscription section or the forgot password section, and was told they were working on it every day. It is not fixed yet. I asked about audio pass, and was told the game pass subscription is a hundred dollars. I won't pay that, when I mainly would be paying for video that I don't want. I asked about NFL Mobile, and apparently, it is a work in progress, too. I think it will be part of this game pass. If you read the details on that page, in particular the section after platforms with the asterisk, it specifically says it does not include regular season live broadcasts, or the super bowl. It also does not mention iOS devices though it says it is coming soon to Apple TV. There is an app All Football Radio Pro that I have used to listen to the 49ers games. I believe I paid $3.99 for it, and you get what you pay for. The audio is sometimes sucky, and sometimes the feed goes away, but it is usable. If the NFL really gave up on making money by streaming, perhaps they won't stop the teams from doing so on their own. Also, you might see CBS NBC and Fox offering that service. On the PC, there is a site called www.freefootballradio.com that streams many games. It seems like the Packers don't stream the home feed. One of the affiliates in Wisconsin might be accidentally doing it or doesn't know how to block it out, but I've rarely found one. I tried too an it didn't work. Each time I double tapped on either the Steelers or Vikings team to listen to the Hall of Fame game, the app crashed and I was thrown back to my home screen. I do like the matchups tab at the bottom of the app screen, but hope they iron out the issues with listening to games.
