RE: Contacts Announcing Initials

2020-03-14 Thread Richard Turner
My wife says that might be 14 or 16 point, no larger than that.
So, that probably wasn’t it.
It was probably just some gremlins who were bored.

If that is 100% under Accessibility, larger text sizes, that is extremely large
and can mess up VoiceOver because less text fits on the screen.

I don’t know what the font equivalent is, but it would be very large print.

This is the 1st time it's ever done this for me as well, but after I opened /
closed contacts a couple of times VoiceOver was back to reading normally again.
My text size is at 100%, which raises another question, and I use Samantha

Other question, my text size is 100%, what does 100% mean in font size, 10,
12,14...? The font size I've never touched, so as far as I know this should be
the default. Thanks much.

Hi Mike,
That is not normal behavior at all.
Which voice are you using?
What font size do you have set?
You may just need to reboot the phone by holding the power and home buttons for
8 or 10 seconds and then wait for it to come back on.
I also have an SE and have not experienced this with Tom Enhanced, which is my
primary voice.
