Garth, I think you're right. I kept whittling down the size of the files until it worked. Finally, at about 15MB, the files could be imported into Downcast. I don't know if there's a size limit somewhere greater than 15MB, or if there was something peculiar about these files. (See new viPhone message inquiring about DropBox, which is related to this experience.) Thanks. Hi Keith Out of interest, try totally clearing out your app switcher and restarting the phone prior to doing the export/import. It shouldn't really make a difference to the size of the file you can import to downcast but might be worth a try. Sounds like you are doing everything properly. When I do this, and get to the point of tapping th the export button, it brings up a list of available apps including Downcast. All works well. Same problem with this someone else reported. Opened the file in DropBox, Played it, Paused it, Added to Favorites, and Export tab eventually became undimmed. All good to this point. Clicking on Export boots me out of the app to the HomeScreen. Repeatedly. Anything I'm doing wrong? Other advice? So close, yet so far. Thanks in advance. dropbox seems to crash everytime i try to export mp3 files from dropbox.. I'd like to know if anyone else is having this issue? trying to export to downcast, but i never get the option for the app i wish to export to.
