At the bottom at the left of the contacts button, right at the edge of the screen is a tiny button, which is not labelled. VoiceOver still announces it as contacts. If you tap this button, a menu opens which lists each button underneath each other with badges, for instance Chats (4 active chats), contacts (8), Groups (0), updates (4), Invites (0). Re: Having trouble with the bbm app
Hi Gen I'm not having the same problem as you, as all my contacts are displayed and read by VoiceOver. But I'm also having problems with BBM. The menus at the bottom don't always activate, especially the Updates and Invites button. I've noticed that with the chats, contacts and groups button, if you swipe right through the buttons, once you get to invites, and swipe again, VoiceOver says the button names and if you double tap on it there, the button activates. This doesn't always work for invites though. And sometimes, if I'm lucky, I manage to open some kind of menu, which says: Chats (1), contacts )4), etc., and if I tap invites and/or updates from that menu it works. But I don't know what I did to bring the menu up. Double tap and hold didn't do the trick. Anyway, my pin is 7BD3E932 if anyone wants to add me. - Original Message - From: Jen Colley To: viphone@googlegroups.com Sent: Thursday, October 31, 2013 12:11 AM Subject: Re: Having trouble with the bbm app Hmmm wondering what my trouble is since it won’t display my contacts.
