Kelly, you can operate the fryer using voice commands with Alexa. I believe
it’s compatible with Google assistant as well but not totally sure about that.

Hi,

Can you use this particular device without the app effectively if you don’t
see? I’ve been wanting to try an air fryer but the few I’ve explored all had
touch controls that I couldn’t use. I haven’t done extensive research.

Well, they do not recommend more than one layer as the air has to be able to
circulate around the food.
When they are talking chicken wings, I suspect they mean the kind you would get
at a bar, which only has the meaty portion and not the little flat wing section.
And since I don't do chicken wings, I don't really know about their sizes.
But, yes, the large basket is geared probably for larger items, including their
cake pan, bread pan, pizza pan ... we can do enough sweet potato fries or pot
stickers for two in ours which I think may be a little smaller than yours.

I'd appreciate it if you could get the size of the basket at some point. NO
hurry.

Hi Kelly,  The App is only necessary for Wi-Fi  setup. After that, if you have either an Alexa device, Google device, or the Alexa app, you can do everything by voice commands. I'm totally blind, and use a previous model with our Sonos speakers or Echo device. My wife set it up, but she also mostly uses voice commands. If it gets off line, which ours did after a power outage, she had to help get it reconnected, but I did the final step through the app. We should be getting the two burner one tomorrow which has a slightly bigger basket than our current one, plus not having to flip food.Richard, USA“Grandma always told us, “Be careful when you pray for patience. I don't know if you have gotten an answer yet, but I took my trusty talking
tape measurer and found that the dimensions are 9 inch by 9 inch. I'm
really excited about giving this one a try. I had the 5.8 quart and this
one is larger.

Hi,
I went into the Vesync app and into Forums in hopes of asking for the inner
dimensions of the basket on the Cosori 3. However, on the iPhone 14 Pro Max
I could not see anything for the most part but unlabeled buttons. I will
have to do a bit of research on their web site and see if I can contact
customer service and ask.

Nicki and I usually layer boneless wings across the bottom. As a rule I don't
pile anything up even if it is jalapeño poppers. Or potato wedges. One of
these days I'm going to try getting some of those fresh red potatoes like I
used to get back when I had vision years ago and some sweet onions and see
if I can make some good homemade home fries. The kind us old country people
used to make for breakfast.

Re: Question about the Vesync app

2023-11-22 Thread Kay Malmquist
The difference with having two burners is that the heat sources are on both
the top and the bottom, and thus your food is being heated from both sides.
In the previous air fryers it only heated from the top and relied on the hot
air being circulated enough to try to cook on the bottom as well. That is
why you head to flip things over.

That is interesting about the cook time. I wonder what the point is of
having two burners then...
I'll be interested to hear how it goes when you cook something.

BTW, any news about the inside measurements of the basket?

Hi richard,
Yes. I get that. I actually tried both, the thing for new page which would
be the three finger scroll up in portrait mode. Or I also tried the side to
side with three fingers but didn't get anything. I'll try it again. They do
say that the cooking time is not cut in half. And then people disagree as to
whether it makes any difference at all, or maybe it cuts down by a little
bit. That's kind of why I was interested in their specific recipes to
perhaps compare with regular recipes that don't expect two burners.

Thanks Rick, I think sometimes my messages are not coming through or something.
I had sent a note saying I found them on the Amazon site just before we ordered
it. They list 9.4 by 9.4 by 4.8 deep. Close enough to your measurements. Thanks
again.

RE: Question about the Vesync app

2023-11-22 Thread Rick Alfaro
Richard and others,

In case you haven't gotten the inner dimensions of the pan yet, here they are
as per my tape king.
The handled pan is 9.58 inches square by 4.8 inches deep without the crisper
tray. The crisper tray is inserted at the bottom of the pan and has holes in it
to allow for grease or liquid through to the bottom if desired.

This was just a quick measurement so probably not as precise it as it could be
but it should give you a good idea.

NO
hurry.

Sorry, richard. I don’t know the inner dimensions of the pan yet. Can’t find it
anywhere online, and I forgot to ask my sided spouse, but I shall do so later
today. Also, and I guess this is really getting off-topic, since it’s not a
technical question. What the heck is the point of this big pan/basket if you’re
only supposed to put food in one layer? I get how you could do a chicken, a
whole big piece of meat whatever.but is it really true that even with the two
burners you should only put one layer? The pan is substantially smaller than a
sheet pan, so a whole bunch of chicken wings for instance, which they say you

RE: Question about the Vesync app

2023-11-22 Thread Richard Turner
I found it finally in the details on the Amazon page.
And, we are likely ordering one as it is on for $127.49 right now.
It says the basket is: 9.4 x 9.4 x 4.8
Which may be the inside measurements or may be the overall measurement, but it
is at least an inch deeper from bottom to top than our current one.

That will help when we do a whole chicken, plus the fact you don't have to
preheat or turn the food.

Thanks,

Hi,
I went into the Vesync app and into Forums in hopes of asking for the inner
dimensions of the basket on the Cosori 3. However, on the iPhone 14 Pro Max I
could not see anything for the most part but unlabeled buttons. I will have to
do a bit of research on their web site and see if I can contact customer
service and ask.

Nicki and I usually layer boneless wings across the bottom. As a rule I don’t
pile anything up even if it is jalapeño poppers. Or potato wedges. One of these
days I’m going to try getting some of those fresh red potatoes like I used to
get back when I had vision years ago and some sweet onions and see if I can
make some good homemade home fries. The kind us old country people used to make
for breakfast.

RE: Question about the Vesync app

2023-11-22 Thread Richard Turner

NO

The pan is substantially smaller than a
sheet pan, so a whole bunch of chicken wings for instance, which they say you
can do, how? You probably couldn’t put more than maybe four big chicken wings
in that basket in one layer. That’s a far cry from I think 17 that they
advertised. I don’t get it.

Re: Question about the Vesync app

2023-11-21 Thread Mary Otten
Hi richard,
Yes. I get that. I actually tried both, the thing for new page which would be
the three finger scroll up in portrait mode. Or I also tried the side to side
with three fingers but didn’t get anything. I’ll try it again. They do say that
the cooking time is not cut in half. And then people disagree as to whether it
makes any difference at all, or maybe it cuts down by a little bit. That’s kind
of why I was interested in their specific recipes to perhaps compare with
regular recipes that don’t expect two burners.

RE: Question about the Vesync app

2023-11-21 Thread Richard Turner
To be clear, the three finger swipe needs to be done with your fingers turn
sideways as if you had the phone landscaped, only leave it portrait and swipe
left to right, or right to left to turn pages like in a book rather than
scrolling up or down.

My assumption about the cook time is that it would be half of a recipe for
single burner models since you do not need to turn the food over.
You may want to call Cosori and ask. Their phone support is usually very good.
But it makes sense to me that if it is cooking from top and bottom a whole
chicken would cook in 30 to 35 minutes instead of twice that.

Thanks, richard. I actually had tried the three finger swipe because I thought
that would scroll, and I didn’t see anything. I guess I’ll give it another
shot. The thing that appeals to me about the app recipes is that it is claimed
they are made specifically for this model of air fryer, which has a burner both
on top and bottom. So I’m wondering about how the time might change for an
ordinary recipe where they expect only one burner.

I don
T use the app hardly at all.
I just looked and the only thing I found is after double tapping on entrees I
get a few more by swiping left to right with three fingers.
For us, we do better searching on the web for air fryer recipes for specific
dishes.
But the app could use a lot of work for Voiceover users.

Subject: Question about the Vesync app

I recently purchased a cosori air fryer, the model pro three dual blaze. It
sinks up with an app called Vesync. Among other things, this app has a whole
bunch of recipes in it supposedly specifically designed for this particular air
fryer. I can access the recipes to start with, but there are a lot more in here
in each of the six categories that I can access. For instance, in the entrées
category, you can swipe past several recipes, and then you get to the next
category. However, there are a lot more that I can’t see. I cannot figure out a
way to scroll this list. on my android device, the list scrolls automatically
and I can seemingly read them all. I just don’t know. Is this a bug, or am I
just not understanding something about voiceover?
